In exchange for Brogdon, the Pacers will receive Malik Fitts, Juwan Morgan, Aaron Nesmith, Nik Stauskas and Daniel Theis.

Brogdon, 29, averaged 19.1 points and 5.9 assists per contest last season. He won the Rookie of the Year award with the Milwaukee Bucks after the 2016-17 NBA season, and has been a solid player over his career, averaging 15.5 point and 4.8 assists over six seasons.

Brogdon has three years left on his contract. He'll make a little over $22 million in each of the next three seasons.

Not sure how these addition two-years figures in?

An underrated part of this acquisition? The Bucks are our biggest competition in the east. Brogdon is probably extra motivated to help us beat the bucks, since he used to play for the bucks, then they refused to give him the $ he deserved, then the bucks won the title without him.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

This dude is an underratted offensive threat for sure. He's the best ballhandler on our team easily and we got him for free.

Yep, dude was pretty old when he won ROY, he has played like a vet since day 1.

Reminds me so much of a Andre Miller/George Hill type but he's sooo much better at scoring. He's like a guard Kawhi lite.

He was a good defender in Milwaukee, but haven't paid attention to him this season, how is his defense?

Unbelievable trade by Brad!

I love Brogdon, one of those old school players that can do everything on the court. Very focused and he is exactly what we missed on the backcourt. Wow, didn´t see this one coming!

Perhaps. But if the Celtics face the Bucks in the playoffs, that matchup against Thanasis Antetokounmpo might prove to be difficult.

I just checked -- Brogdon makes enough money that his salary could not have fit into a TPE. So doing this as a non-TPE trade was the only way, and my brief thoughts of "Did they deliberately structure it this way to preserve the Fourier TPE?" have fallen by the wayside.

Huge fan of Brogdon, if he's healthy he's a very intelligent and tough player. He's similar to Holliday and doesn't cost as much. Fingers crossed he can stay healthy. Really decent pick up from Brad. I like a healthy Brogdon way more than White.
Good assessment:

The top 10 guys in the new rotation are unreal. With Gallo and Pritchard as our ninth and tenth guys

I don’t know about Boston being the favorites. But Brad is the favorite for Exec of the Year. Amazing team.

Just imagine having Brogdon, or even Gallo, during that last series.

Now a scorer with the TPE and I'm posting the Vince McMahon "Oh" gif.

I love everything about this deal.

We gave up nothing of value that we'd need next year. We have a whole bunch of decent guards we're not afraid to play so even if the absolute worst-case happens we'll be perfectly fine. And we lose nothing even if he never plays a minute for us. Insanely high upside, virtually no real risk. What's not to love?

This just made the wait for next season to begin seem much longer but much more exciting. I love Brogdon's game! Brad has addressed perhaps our two biggest needs already. And there's more to come. Wow.

The team is suddenly stacked.

I hope Kabengele is good enough in summer league to get a roster spot, then get one of Kennard, Huerter or Kuzma with the big TPE and lets roll!!!

Did Brad do Fitts, Morgan and Stauskas a solid or what...they each have to have their contract guaranteed to make salary cap work. LOL. Brad's amazing.
