This is a shocking deal. We gave up a ton. That said, Gobery can be transformational for our defense. This also means we have a lot of roster spots to fill. Very interesting. We will be a massively different team next season, we got to plug in a lot of areas. I also wonder if this means Dlo will be back as he will probably look good with a lob big like Gobert. Major team altering move here. Big change.

Horrible horrible trade. Why are we treating Gobert like a top5 superstar ? This is garbage trade man.

It’s interesting because now we have some roster space, there probably are going to be a few more moves.

Gobert is the right move but this is crazy. Way too much out.

KAT and Ant will be here in their prime in 26-27 so I’m not too worried about any of the picks.

Freaking horrible trade. West is crazily competitive. There is no guarantee that Wolves would be even guaranteed a playoff spot and we are giving away unprotected FRPs for a guy who is horribly limited offensively.

It seems to me that package could've gotten us Durant. It's a ton to give up but if we're playoff team the next seven (7) years, the Picks won't sting as much. It's going to be a very interesting experiment, that's for sure.

:o Wow, this looks like a ridiculous price on paper. I thought Murray was a tall order but this blows it out. Gobert will change this team but man, we really are looking to contend paying that, Conely thinks we will be in the conference finals picture at least for the foreseeable future, and maybe that will be the case.

Plus our 2022 FRP.

Turner would have cost 1/3 of that if not less, arguably the better fit, cheaper and younger. Ouch.

We also essentially gave away our 2022 22nd pick too with Walker. almost 5 FRPs, with 3 of them being completely unprotected. Idk how anyone can even justify this trade. Maybe it would have made sense if Gobert was on some 4 year $100M contract instead of $160M contract

I think he is not that great of a post defender at all, he is rim protector, but post bigs cook him often. Fortunately, in this day and age, post defense is not that important anymore

Speechless

Congrats winforlose, live your dream! Mine is dead, but I won't be pissed of if we play in playoffs every year of Gobert contract

Thing is we still do not have a PG which is a huge issue. Maybe this move would have made some sense if other parts of the roster are complete but they clearly aren't in our case
