I disagree with people saying we gave too much. You guys just aren't realizing how good Rudy is. Those picks should be 20s picks, we have 3 studs that all are at least all-star level, plus we have a lot of good role players and depth. We still have 2nd rounders and can usually buy for more to get decent prospects.

Essentially we are giving up 3 bench players and a solid but not great prospect, maybe 2 if Bolmaro is in this deal?

I'm just curious if they made this offer for Durant first? I hope they did.

Why not wait next year and make a shot to Turner???

Just horrible for you guys I feel terrible

P.S. Mine is over, but I won't be pissed of if we play in playoffs every year of Gobert contract

This wasn’t my dream. I would never have given the fourth first, the pick swap, the 27 would be protected (maybe top 14,) and probably wouldn’t have V8 in the deal. If it was me.

I used to whine about picks, but if we are gonna be anything, those picks will be in the 20’s. Not like we’re talking lottery picks.

The un protected jn 25 and 27 makes it too much . You’re basically banking on the TWolves making the playoffs for another 6+ years. You cannot do that .

This might go down for Minnesota as one of the worst trades in NBA history

The Nets GM must be absolutely salivating right now.

Gobert likely only have 2, maybe 3 years of prime left though.

One thing though, you got two of the top 5 centers in the same team now, that's just nuts. People always talked about Jokic, Embiid, Gobert, Towns. We got 2/4 on the same team. That is unprecedented. It really could be something wild.

Wow hate to see V8 go but love this trade. Worried about all those unprotected picks :o . The NBA draft is maybe the hardest to find really talent outside the lottery then any other league.

Teams are going to have to figure out our size now. All these team going small ball will have to figure out a how to defend DLo, Ant, McD's, Kat, and Rudy. Thats a monster starting line up. Rudy is the prefect fit next to Kat on defense. On Offense I could see Kat playing off the ball in pick in roll to get the kick out and open the roll to the hoop for Rudy. I could also see Rudy in the dunker spot when Kat is used in PnR.

I know what Rudy brings on Defense but how well does he set picks? That alone could save 3 fouls a game.

I wonder if Nazi will get run at the back 4 or is he on the trade block for a back up PG?

I would love to get another scorer off the bench now. JMac, Nowell will have to prove they can be solid but another vet here could be great. However I think Anderson can take some pressure off them to run the offense.

I trust Price, Anderson and Nazi in a limited roll and maybe with Town or Rudy next to him will be interesting.
