I know the NBA is different but this really is Duncan and Robinson all over again. Now we need McDaniels to become Sean Elliot.

I'm in shock. I never thought it would happen. Now I have to check the details, but I'm prepared to love it.

I've gone on record saying I think its extremely hard to win if a center is your best player. That said, we got Ant. Ant will still have to be our guy, KAT and Gobert can be amazing compliments. I think a defensive team with size and length being buoyed by a scoring dynamo guard in Edwards could do a lot of damage. If KAT can defend decently at the 4 we will have something special.

Gobert likely only have 2, maybe 3 years of prime left though.

He’s also a giant expiring contract in 3-4 years who could be swapped for a disgruntled star or multiple valuable players. I’m definitely happier with this trade the more I think about it.

I'm excited for how Finch would make this work. But I'm disappointed in the draft capital going out. Latter year picks should've been lottery protected in my opinion.

Turner or Ayton this year would have been much better choice being going 2 centers was their goal.

Beasley and Vanderbilt were residual of RoCo that we got for peanuts … Beverly was gotten for Marbles and a lot of people didn’t like Kessler and one can assume he was drafted as a backup in case this deal didn’t fly. Teams throw picks around now days. Beverly is the only real loss for me.

A mixed bag of value and emotion, but at the end of the day, we got hell of a solid NBA player locked up for 3-4 years.

Let’s let it play itself out. Connelly has been driven to add a big and safe to say Finch was on board…. And likely Towns as well.

DLo, Ant, McD, Towns, Gobert
McL, Nowell, Moore, Prince, SloMo, Reid

Not a shabby lineup…

The only positive thing that I see in this trade is that we didnt give up Mcdaniels...

Hate to lose Bev V8 and Beasley..

Now we must add player...or we are done??

I just find it funny that ANT and others said that they were more afraid of driving if Kristaps is defending than Gobert. Now they're teammates

His whining is extremely annoying on such a franchise changing day. I’m really hoping the fanbase is mostly just scared of the unknown and at the end everyone will be happy for this transaction. 3 All NBA players with D-Lo plus McDaniels. Come on guys, this roster should have finals aspirations as long as Rudy is here. Although I’m hoping we flip Russell for a better fit. I’m soooo excited and can’t wait for the season opener.

Amazing Lineup but a weak bench IMO
