Yeah, we don't think city warmth, proximity to oceans, and preferential treatment should dictate the success of a basketball team.

I will say Windy is coming into his prime as a tv head rumormonger. Really love listening to this guy chatter about trade possibilities.

I honestly want to know what got into him with the Rudy thing. I get no doubt he knew what was going to go down. But the way he was dancing around the subject was hilarious. Im just curious what made him go on First Take (or whatever show it was) and go about it that way.

You know the next time he decides to do something like that, people are going to be trying to break it down so hard haha.

That segment made me so uncomfortable lol. It was AWKWARD. He was saying a whole bunch of nothing and everybody looked confused.

you and the other guests are easily confused then because I was picking up what he was putting down. He basically spelled it out for everyone. They traded a Mitchell buddy (Royce O'Neal) and let another one go and that's surprising since he was their lone 3 and D guy which to him signaled Danny Ainge, having a history of doing so, was wanting to blow the whole thing up and start a rebuild. And this is why Quinn Snyder left because he wasn't interested in going through a rebuild. The following day Gobert is traded. What's so confusing? It was a legendary segment and there's a reason it's a meme now.

Rebuilding for what? They traded all their picks to the Rockets.

From all the boatload of picks they're going to get from KD & our 2027 & 2029 first if the deal goes through.

Is there any reason on the Nets side to make this trade happen right now instead of waiting until after the season starts? If the Lakers are being stingy about adding what little value they can add why not wait a few months and let the pressure build if the Lakers get off to a slow start? The Lakers have to worry about placating LeBron next season, the Nets don't have to worry about keeping anyone happy.

I guess to save themselves the headache of Kyrie for another season and also because they wanna get something for him now when no one else is offering anything. Other than that, I'm with you and would keep him to mount pressure on the Lakers and see how much they're really willing to give up for him to get Lebron out of this Westbrook mess.

Yeah because the Clippers have been so successful at winning titles with those advantages.

Because they are done and ready to turn the page. Watch Tsai’s interview. He talks of the entire organization being unhappy with those two around. They want to move on and have a fresh start and the owner is championing that cause. He doesn't want KD and Kyrie anywhere around the team or organization.

Expectation: Kyrie Irving
Reality: Lonnie Walker

Can't wait to wake up on a beautiful Sunday morning, make a cup of joe, and then turn on the news to see kyrie on the Lakers
Kobe Bryant forever
GO LAKERS

I've heard it through the grapevine..NBA gods have already designated Los Angeles LAKERS as NBA Champions in near future. The destiny is real. TRUST ME.

I don't think the Nets are even working on a Kyrie trade right now. Nothing happens until they figure out what they're doing with KD.

Maximum return on LOLs would be for Nets to do this trade, bring in Westbrook, and then refuse to trade KD.

no denying the Lakers are hated by other fanbases but this has nothing to do with it, ppl are losing their S*** cuz the Nets are
laughable

no1 wants Westbrook, he's a nice guy but a terrible player at this point and on his contract..is only useful as an expiring
I get that the Nets want Irving out asap but a motivated Kyrie on the Lakers is very valuable
why would the Nets give Kyrie what he wants, while bailing out the Lakers from the last season of Westbrook without getting a real return back?

I understand that Kyrie's value is low league wide but it isn't low as far as the Lakers are concerned and the Nets ought to make them pay for it, lol @seth curry. Harris was abysmal in 2021 playoffs and certainly not needed for the nets rebuild, also been out for a while

it's not like WB gonna impact winning positively for the Nets and he's a terrible fit with Simmons
if i'm gonna buy him out, i'd rather just pay Kyrie that money and sit him out unless i'm actually getting something positive back!

I assume the Lakers are offering:

Westbrook + 1 1st (and maybe 1 swap) for Irving + Curry
Westbrook + THT + 1 1st for Irving + Harris
Westbrook for Irving + Harris

And the Nets want an additional 1st to consider any of these.

Makes sense actually for nets to prioritise moving kd 1st. But the lols with russ and kd and russ and simmons would be hilarious

Whoa
Who is the better defender Joe Harris or Seth? Seth is better offensively IMO, but the Lakers desperately need a wingman, not another undersized sg.... Well unless Joe's injury is more serious than thought....

You gotta consider several layers of hate. The lakers seems to always fall on their feet medium to long term. Bron cherry picks the messes he ends up with and then runs. And kyrie has abused teams and could end up where he wants to be
