Let Ainge go into this season with Mitchell still on the team. Either Mitchell will ruin his tank or he will not be as good without Rudy and get exposed. Some of you are so damn desperate its friggin pathetic.

Or he just sends him to Miami and kills any chance of this team getting any top talent for years to come

Regret what?
We getting the 1st pick or something ? How likely is that?

We kept our picks the past decade.
Move on and get players now. We still keep 1sts every other year.

Anything more than 4 picks/swaps is excessive, if going in the eight category. Realistically the Knicks can like the nets who gave up rhe #1 picK in 2017 which turned to JaYson Tatum. It plays into Ainges hands and Ainge is desperate to unload a now Disgruntled superstar. That's why it was refreshing to see the tweet from Shams where it said that it may be a "dance" that goes on for months or years.

You know the Knicks will get #1 in the lottery when they swap or jettisoned to utah

@Tjonesonthenba provided lots of good info during his interview w/ @spencechecketts
* Deal was close Tuesday night but NY backed away
* Jazz asked for 6 1st round picks + Grimes, Quickly, Obi & McBride
* #UtahJazz don’t want RJ (because of his contract)

If Miami wants to give up 47 picks and Herro then let em. They cant even offer that many, but if they mustered it up then good riddance. We’ll survive without the midget.

Knicks have been internal growing since Porzingis, a better part of the last decade.

Lol - way to say nothing Shams.

We have a lot of guys who can “pop” tho. Why not just see what they can do first?

We just signed Brunson to be our lead guard, who owned Mitchell in the playoffs, and now we’re gonna immediately relegate him to be Raymond Felton.

Its cool tho. Dont let me ruin everyone’s dreams.

We actually havent. We had a bunch of vets on the team that are mostly gone now, and we had no PG.

But ok just give Danny boy whatever he wants.

That is a ton and goes along with reporting that they asked for a haul and Knicks gave an aggressive counter offer. Ainge has no leverage.

Guess it all comes down to how confident you are in our young talent actually being good.. myself I’m not sold on any of them with my whole heart tbh.. I’m guessing a lot of my fellow Knick brethren and sisters feel the same going by the split in opinions on this. Honestly the fact that we can trade unproven dudes like grimes (who I like a lot but cmon) and reddish for Donovan feels like high way robbery

If his saying the deal was close is true that means we are likely OK with most of that offer. Whether that means 1 different player exchanged for that combination or 1 less pick (or a different type of pick) sounds like we were close.

Also curious is how are we going to fit him under Cap with no big contract like Fournier going back?

I listened to the podcast. Maybe I heard wrong but the player selection there seems like more than what he actually mentioned in it
