Bottom line is this. It doesn't matter what I think or want, because Leon Rose and Dolan want this. Rose knows this is his opportunity to do what he promised when he signed up with us. He also knows that 2-3 more years of losing won't be tolerated in NY, and he'll be on the job market.

I will say this again, first, the longer it takes the better it is for the Knicks, second Ainge wants no part of Mitchell even showing up to training camp no less playing in any games since his plan is for the Jazz to be the worst team in the nba, so the longer it takes and closer to the season the more leverage Ainge loses, and finally everyone on the planet knows the Knicks have the most any team can offer in terms of draft picks and also want Mitchell, so he can try to get a bidding war, but I don’t see it. The part that’s most frustrating for us fans is wanting something done right now, but again the longer it takes the better it will be for the Knicks
