He's gonna be getting some vicious trash talk thrown his way this season. Ouf.

If we still have him, heaven forbid we face Boston in the playoffs, they're gonna let him have it.

I can't imagine Bostonians getting too ruthless with the babydick talk since they have their own Irish Curse to deal with. They might even be empathetic to Herro's struggle

What a damn joke none of them is worth to pony up that kind of money. I see we will probably make the same mistake as before.

1. The meeting went very well, he does not know what was said in the meeting between all parties, however did hear that the Agent did most of the talking but Durant was there and did say somethings, there was a rep from the Brooklyn side present who did not talk. The meeting was held via conference call and very little has been said about any of the conversations from our executives.
2. Miami is moving forward with the plan to get Durant at all cost so don't expect any ancillary trades happening for medial upgrades unless they are meant to get assets/picks.
3. The problem now is that most Front offices are going on leave/PTO. It makes things drag a bit for the next 2-3 weeks.
4. Miami expects that with the information passed down to NY they should hold steadfast and call Ainge's bluff. We need to snag Durant before Ainge offloads Mitchell the repercussions of them getting a large haul for Mitchell could potentially cause a giant rift between all parties in Brooklyn with the expectations continued to be set over there at Utah basically raising the market value, meaning they could decide to play the season out even if Durant wants nothing to do with them.

Hey guys one more thing I forgot to include that we talked about, lots of info getting passed in 5 minute convo:

5. Just a heads up something he heard this morning, Miami reached out to Tyler Herro on Thursday afternoon. They wanted a follow up and talk about the current news of him via the trade market as they heat up. He has yet to respond to the Heat organization as of this morning, very rare he is usually quick on respond. They last spoke on Monday Night where he was ok with being the centerpiece of a big trade. Which is how Miami built their packages sold to both Utah & Brooklyn. It could be something it could be nothing, Miami definitely wants zero burned bridges here. Unlike some other players Miami already knows, as scouted, an Angry Herro is not a good basketball player. More to follow on that front as things move.

What the hell will he be angry about? Up to this point he has wilted when it counts, he is not worth the money he will demand, dont know if he ever will but Today, right now he is not.

Just because someone shouldn't be angry or upset doesn't mean they won't be...

Jerami Grant and Christian Wood went for 1 first round pick. I’m supposed to believe Strus, Yurtseven, and Vincent have 1st round value? I don’t know how Riley pulls this off. Maybe somehow we get a first for Lowry. Maybe the other players are the filler with Lowry that’s gets that extra pick and maybe a second to OKC to release protections on pick.

Strus, Gabe Vincent, and Yurtseven do not have frp value whatsoever lol. Them combined may fetch one (1) late first. Doubt it though

Hopefully the end result is more 4 years $90 million than max. Unless he has taken a star step. He has only played half a season so far that was worth paying good money for.

Miami may go the Phoenix route perhaps, let him play out the season, earn the max. If he comes out putting up 22-25PPG on good efficiency as a starter, chances are he will get that Max. However they will let another team bid on him and see what the market is offering.
Those statistics are 35 mill per and up players. You guys are on the 2000 teens salary expectations.

People acting like a broken down Lowry isn't making 30+ million. Also showing again why a player will be a fool for going along with what's "best for the team". You can't say one thing and then try to play the same card against the player come contract time. That's fine for grit and grind happy to be in the league players, not someone looking to maximize his payday

I’m sure the list is a lot more expansive than that. You omitted Royce O’Neale for one. The context of whatever else is involved in the trade and the cap maneuvers of each franchise always matters.

Royce O’Neal went for a 1st my guy. Strus is better than Royce and you don’t even have to match salary for him. Bucks, Warriors, Sixers, Suns, Mavs, Lakers, Celtics, nuggets, etc. would LOVE to be able to add a rotational piece whos an elite 3 point shooter like that. He’s shown he’s not scared of the moment too.

To top it off royce is a win now guy and was traded for a 1st to a team that’s about to offload their best 2 players and be in the lottery. If needed you will find 1 team out of the other 29 willing to trade for Strus
