Read that Lakers willing to include picks to take Westbrook... can we convey to Jazz? Just thinking...

I suspect this rumor is total bullsh*t

I'm not completely convinced there is truly anything to the Donovan Mitchell trade either. Or at least as substantive as implied.

If the parties were really interested, sh*t would be over now, instead of this leaking and waiting BS.

The Lakers next 1st round pick that they can actually trade is in 2027. And we think the 1st round picks we got from OKC has little value? Yes, if you hate Julius Randle then yeah you can tell the Lakers to just keep the picks cause we hates him. But otherwise, those picks are **** value. Why else do you think Westbrook is still a Laker even though the Lakers have been trying to trade him for some time. Trading for Mitchell and signing Brunson makes the Knicks a here and now. Why trade your most talented player on the team for a couple low value 1st round picks that wont materialize for 5 and 7 years respectively? Especially from a team that has shown a great ability to do real well rather than not well throughout their history (the Lakers franchise is 2nd in NBA history in terms of winning percentage...better than the Celtics and only trailing the Spurs).

randle is not a fit with a ball dominant backcourt

Yes he is, he will thrive with open threes spacing the floor

Randle barely shot 30% on C&S 3's....

Ill believe it when I see it tho. Everything still points to Julius staying, at least for a while to recoup some value.

Thing is I dont see Julius’ value going up much here compared to many of our other players, unless he completely changes his game and attitude. May as well just get rid of him now then to play Obi more, who already has the type of off-ball game and team attitude needed.

Randle is a Dolan favorite, can't see him going anywhere.

You don't know what Dolan thinks about Randle in July 2022

What we all do know is Randle profoundly embarrassed the organization last season. There is no reason to assume he is still favored by Dolan

Al Jefferson, Drummond, ZBo, Boozer, Mashburn, Juwan Howard, and David Lee made All NBA Teams once too. So what. And I hate comparing Lee to Randle because at least Lee was a great teammate here.

Here's what happened.

Marc Stein visited 4 different Knicks internet forums, took the pulse of fans on Randle, read a few of the Russel Westbrook bullsh*t trades that get floated on them, and made up a rumor to get clicks, drive traffic to his substack etc.

Whatever.

With no PG play resulting in low quality shots. Problem solved with Brunson

Because all NBA teams only have one guy who can dribble a basketball towards the basket with any ability...

You've been watching the Knicks for too long.

He didn't really belong there though.

He was a good starter for the Knicks, who needed a playmaker to run the offense through, and he played well in that role.

But if any Knick deserved to make All-NBA, it was Derrick Rose.

Mitchell doesn't want to play with Randle. Can't blame him. He saw him meltdown in person.

Idk how some posters can watch him act like this all season and still stick up for him. Gotta be trollin like Melo says he is when his mask slips. He wasnt just terrible on the court outside his counting stats, but hes toxic as chit.

The really interesting thng about that is the way Randle is trying to explain it to Mitchell and you can see in his eyes that he has respect for DMitch... maybe it's possible that Randle will take a step back for Don letting him lead the way.... nah, trade his azz
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

Every 1st round pick is valuable.
