you mean playing Bam as a 4 ? would not work he doestn have a reliable jump shot. It might be nonsensical to you but posters can complain all they want either if you agree with it or not, you are voicing your opinion that signing PJ for the MLE would have been a mistake, which i agree. But it doesnt take from the fact we are still with a glaring big hole at the 4 and now it seems we will have to play freaking Caleb Martin as a power forward, we are just set to fail from the very start.
And I can point out emotional venting all I want.
Yurt would theoretically provide spacing in the Bam-Yurt scenario. I'm not ready to shut the door on him or that at this juncture.
And I can point out emotional venting all I want. Sure you can, as they all have the reight to post their opinions even if you like them or not. At the end of the day this is not Greg's forums, people come here to express and not have their opinions almost ridiculed by anybody or diminished by anybody.
On the Yurt front, his jumper is not ready yet, he was coming along fine but we decided to bench him and never gave him anymore meaningful minutes the moment Adebay, Jimmy and Dedmond all came out of their injuries. So unless he improves a lot this offseason, he is not provinding space.

Id be looking at Deandre Fox as the next star. Once Kings implode we should pounce.

If this is true then why didn't get a PF through FA. I don't mind waiting till trade deadline to make a move if KD and Mitchell doesn't materialize but we can't go to the season with a huge hole in the starting 4 position.
If Kyrie doesn't end up in LA then we should wait and keep our assets in case either Bron or AD become available in the trade deadline. The LA roster isn't great and if they don't get Kyrie its going to self destruct again.
Otherwise we should make a move for Myles Turner for a 1st Yurt and Duncan and no more than that. Outside LA self destructing, I don't see any other potential trades for allstar level players being available this season.
This is the other point they made: Pj Tucker was the second largest signing $ in terms of a player switching to another team. So when we say they should have a got a PF in FA who are we even talking about? Gallinari? Tj Warren? Kyle Andersen?

I thought this forum was intended to have opinions and ideas challenged and explored regarding the Miami Heat.
Case in point, your very next paragraph in response to my comment on Bam-Yurt:On the Yurt front, his jumper is not ready yet, he was coming along fine but we decided to bench him and never gave him anymore meaningful minutes the moment Adebay, Jimmy and Dedmond all came out of their injuries. So unless he improves a lot this offseason, he is not provinding space.
I think it's an accurate concern to monitor. Yurt seemingly was only trained to play in the paint during the regular season last year. Some of his international play and G League play shows someone more adept at spot up 3 point shooting.
If Miami doesn't make additional personnel moves to address the 4, I'll personally be very interested in monitoring how they will use Yurt.
My other concern with Yurt is that he doesn't have the ideal wingspan to cover for having a lumbering big on the floor defensively.

You’re moving too fast, Paul Millsap is our guy who will be in the rafters one day.
