Ingram. Ingram can be an alpha on offense, unlike Jaylen.

Jaylen is more of like Klay. Better off as a third option on offense.

A better question is, would you prefer Jaylen or Maxey? Maxey is younger and has better chance to be an alpha than Jaylen.

Giannis Antetokounmpo through 9 seasons:

4x All-NBA 1st Team
4x All-Defensive 1st Team
2x MVP
DPOY
NBA Champion

The only other player to accomplish this in their career was Michael Jordan.

Celtics should send Brown and Timelord. Gives them a such defense at least.... If they change coaches.

I could see Boston's hesitancy to trade an all star young player and versatile guard that just won dpoy, I was like option 2B or 2C in his prime for an NBA finalist. I say option 2B because he was overall a successful point guard, and if one of their two stars didn't show up he could give you 20 or more. If I do Brown and Smart...I may add only 1 first pick, Some seconds, and some swaps.

Was really crazy is that I was proposing brown and smart a few years ago for Ben Simmons when he was at peak value. Crazy how things change.

But, it's obvious the Nets aren't trying to pull the trigger. They're either keeping him or trying to literally tear his destination a new one

Even crazier, look back even further to Jahlil Okafor first two years and talk was Okafor for Avery Bradley but Celts thought that was too much and countered with Smart.

How about that time when Ainge wouldnt do any trade if it involves Terry Rozier and people were laughing like “who tf is terry rozier?”

Browns defensive versatility and length places him over Maxey.

Love Tyrese but I’d swap him for Brown in a heartbeat. Jaylen wants to kill everyone on the court and just plays pissed off all the time. That alone would be a nice boost for this team.
2025-2026 Philadelphia 76ers:

Maxey/McCain/Lowry
Edgecombe/Grimes/Gordon
George/Oubre/Edwards
Watford/Barlow/Walker
Embiid/Drummond/Bona/Broome

That would be a very painful trade you'd have to make, but one that will never even be broached anywhere but here.

Yeah, if Boston won’t trade him for KD they wouldn’t trade him for Maxey.

Brown actually fits like a glove next to Harden and Embiid. Big wing who can score and compete defensively.

I thought Boston did offer Brown for KD (along with White and a pick)? But Nets declined. That's at least what I read in the Miami Herald.

I wonder what Miami would have to offer without including Bam. Herro, 3 first rounders, 3 pick swaps and what else?

Yeah, you’re right. Got confused with Zack Lowe sayin he wouldn’t trade Brown for KD.

I think Miami would also have to include atleast Strus, Vincent and probably Lowry (for salary) in that deal as well.

I’m going to be fascinated to see how Timelord’s knee looks next year. If he’s not back to 100%, Boston should be shunned by players forever. They had him limping around out their just like Isaiah Thomas.

Wow, R.I.P.

Probably the only Celtic I never had any derision towards because he was such a class act.

Bill Russell hated Boston as much as we do. R.I.P. to a real one.

You said it. R.I.P. to a real legend. A man who was bigger than the game and did a lot of amazing things for a lot of people. Working tomorrow with a friend whose father was close with Russell. I've only heard amazing things about the man. He lived a great life. Let's honor the man.

I've always had an irrational hatred for Bill Russell because Bill Simmons annoyingly always claims that he's second all time.

Yep, he even had his number retired in a private ceremony. Said it was the most racist place he'd ever been.

I still play 2K19 and in the game one of the recorded rants Simmons goes on about is how he wrote his book to let people know Russell was better than Chamberlain. He also has a passive aggressive rant about Embiid in the game. Dude is the worst. But Russell always struck me as a kind guy so I won't let little Bill Simmons ruin my view of him lol.
