I don't see Jimmy choosing Kyrie over Kyle. Only way I believe this is if it's a combination of other players, Duncan being at the top of that list, I would guess. I don't know how or who the math works with, but I can't see that happening with Kyle if its under Jimmy's insistence.

I’d feel a lot better going into next season with that team as long as Kyrie has his head on straight.

That Collins ship has sailed. He’s been hanging with Young and Murray all summer and they all seem to be happy. He’s locked into a good deal. No reason to deal him at this point since they got rid of Huerter’s deal. As a matter of fact they already turned down Barnes cause they wanted the 4th pick which became Keegan Murray.

I don’t agree on the collins reasoning but there are other option of so.

They are building off season chemistry. No reason to deal him to the rival Heat. That would send a bad message to that group.

And Nunn was close with alot of our guys, DJJ and Bam are very close. We let them walk for nothing. If the right package is there they’ll take it

With Kyle still dealing with personal issues, maybe Kyle want to go to Brooklyn to be closer to his Family

The next big 3 is Bam Tatum and Mitchell. Obviously won’t be in Utah, no one wants to play in Boston and Tatum grew up hating them so that only leaves……

Love how these guys are all best friends and their games fit perfect with one another

I agree that this could be the future. If we can 2/3 in-house by trading for Mitchell then we’re looking at being the place. Otherwise, there’s always the potential of a 3rd team - remember other teams cleared enough space for 2/3 of the big-3 & Chicago possibly could have made the big-3 work (with D-Rose ).

I could see Kyle being happy with a 3-way that gets him to Philly. But I can’t see any deal outside of involving Harris that makes the financials work.

The other thing could be Washington, that’s about the same distance to Philly & has some pieces that might be interesting to BKN could snag Rui in the deal and have a real PF on opening day?

Too much for Kyrie and not enough for Collins. The total package for us is probably about right, but the Hawks will want more & the Nets will likely settle for less.

Lowry might be enough to keep KD happy, so getting a small piece like Yurt and/or a pick might be good enough. Hawks probably don’t like the fit with Herro, but there are surely teams willing to give something Hawks will be happy with.

Edit: or we just pursue the Herro/Duncan for Turner/Duarte route.

I think Kyries value jumps with an extension included but fair enough. If no extension then yea I’d definitely do Lowry Yurt and a 1st or something (they want 2 1sts for him as is). Then we have Herro Duncan picks and other filler for another trade depending on the value of player that becomes available

Need to just resign Kieff already. Figure out a way to trade for his brother soon after.

"plan B" being a trade with the same team as "plan A" is amusing.

I don't see how owing Kyrie more money could possibly increase his value. The only "extension" I'd offer him is a team option or a non-guaranteed salary. Kyrie is a venom. Committing to keeping him in our system for multiple years and making him harder to move the more he acts up is a recipe for disaster.

We didn't want to play him last season after his injury. I don't think he's an option.

I hope they change there mind. I really like what he was giving us prior to the Jovic injury.
