If you want to blame anybody for Soriano's inability to hit in the playoffs you blame Jim Donut Boy Hendry.

It is too bad players aren't paid according to their performance in the playoffs. Make each playoff share a different amount and the most productive gets the biggest, second gets the second biggest and so on.

Fonz better have a clutch HR at some point this postseason. When we signed him, the first thing I pointed out was his terrible playoff numbers. I hate being right.

OK, so who thinks that Craig Monroe has transferd himself into Soriano's body.

It wasn't my money. I'm glad "Donut Boy" paid to someone at least. And that someone is one of the reasons we got into the playoffs and was our regular season home run leader.

I agree that Soriano has a history of failing in the playoffs. I don't agree that it was money wasted. At least he is in the playoffs and has the chance to suck again. Better than watching the D'backs play the Brewers.

Alfonso Soriano=Sammy Sosa
Sosa had more power, Soriano has a better arm.
Both either strikeout or hit homers.

Sammy Sosa vs marlins 03' BA .308

Soriano will never have a batting average like that in the playoffs against any team.

These pitchers know how to pitch to Soriano. He has a habit of falling to 0-2 counts a lot as well.

Both pitchers laboring. This is going to end up a bullpen battle.

Lilly needs to watch his pitch count. We need 6 from him.

The consequences of often swinging at the first pitch. Of course he'll also hit a lot of lead off homers... but I'd rather have that sort of bat in the 3, 4, or 5 hole.
