So probably at least another 2-3 weeks of this haggling...it's all good. Football starts in 2 weeks, and my son will be starting fall baseball as well, plenty to keep me entertained.

Teams need to set their rosters with vets, etc.

This needs to really happen before training camp. It's holding up a lot of vet signings.

I agree. And I hope it doesn't take that long, I just believe Ainge is gonna wait as long as possible to make sure he gets close to exactly what he wants in the deal.

Yah, I think that's a pretty reasonable read on where we are at. I wouldn't be surprised if the Barrett rumors are just both teams looking for a third team who will send picks for Barrett, but I can't find an obvious match (I thought Charlotte, but the pick they owe to SAS makes it awkward).

Well NBA training camp starts on September 28 so they have basically a month to go.

Camp usually starts 3 weeks before pre season. Pre season games are starting September 30. Camp should start around the 9th of September or so.
