Maybe this is meant to be a thing before they trade for Westbrook. Look even Cuban can learn to shoot, show em you can to Westy.

Cuts aren’t allowed on shooting videos after every 3 or 4 shots

lmao at people being so critical of Cuban here.

The dude is in his mid 60s, of course he's not going to have a lightning quick release.

I believe Memphis' owner also works out with the team a lot (he's in his late 30s I believe)

Good to see owners who care about the game instead of just buying a team for bragging rights.

It's a lot of basement dwellers being angry at old guy shooting better than they can even in their advanced stat filled dreams.

Yeah, it's cool that he enjoys the game.

I don't expect a team owner to be a good basketball player and I don't look at a video like this to judge his skills. But I do find it appealing that he's in the gym getting some shots up and working with a trainer just for the fun of it.

But the OP describing it as "pro-like consistency," ironic or not, kind of invites ridicule.
Just because it happened to you, doesn't make it interesting.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

Yesterday I was lying; today I'm telling the truth.

I mean, I'd use a late second rounder for him, but definitely not a first. Coming out of college he was only a three star recruit, so...

When he bought the team a few years back in his early-to-mid thirties, he could apparently dunk and actually played in the celebrity game at all star weekend.

Owners can't put themself on the court I believe. The NBA has a rule against that to prevent madmen from doing it.

It doesn't surprise me that he can shoot. He has owned the Mavs for over 20 years. He is on a basketball court at least 2 hours a day during the season. So I'm sure when the players are working out, I imagine he works out with them also..... there has been a lot of videos in the past of when Dirk was younger and Cuban was lifting weights, treadmill, etc.....

But I can't stand him. The smartest guy in the room meddles too much a la Jerry Jones.

When he was shooting from left45, Cuban kept travelling before each shot, not a good habit to get into, even in America.
