just caught the last couple mins, how the guys look? don't really care about score

Super slow and sloppy start was basically the end of it. Your boy looked good, took a charge first play. Bumped knees at one point and gave us a scare but thankfully it ended up being nothing serious.

Bam showed the full skillset, mid range pull ups, dribble pull-ups, post work, attacking the basket, ability to get to the line, hit a 3 and looked natural. He looks ready for the next step

Yurt hit a 3 and attempted a couple. Defensively he’s just far too slow, im worried about him and Dedmon.

Shooters were horrible.

Lowry seems out of place.

Martin looked great, all his scores were jumpers I believe.

So Bam /Yurt might be in small doses to start

Yes I’d say so but that’s definitely a work in progress from the looks of it. With no Jimmy both Martin and Yurt started so not sure what direction we’re going to go in there but my guess would be Martin

Problem is, of coursee, Duncan Robinson will need court time to play or he will never get out of his shooting woes. We need him to get better to trade him, because of salary, so... maybe he'll get played more.

I'm not ruling Bam and Yurt out after one game together. Particularly a game without Jimmy too.

Right now, I'd be going with:

Lowry / Vincent (if healthy)
Herro / Oladipo
Butler / Strus
Martin / Highsmith
Adebayo / Yurtseven

Robinson and Dedmon on the outside looking in. Spo can start small and then shift big with Yurt coming in for Martin mid-way through the first to give opposition defenses a different look.

Honestly, I'm looking forward to Jovic getting some reps in Sioux Falls. That program has provided us with a lot of diamonds in the rough. I'm excited to see how it works with a player with the talent and skillset of Jovic. No disrespect to Duncan/Gabe/Max et al, but Jovic as a prospect is a far superior possibility.

I’m kind of worried his increase in offense may cause a decrease defensively but it’s so important to him I don’t think it will. It’s already a crime he isn’t a DPOY.

Call me crazy but MIP DPOY all nba all star and all defense are all attainable. I’d put MIP as the least likely

Looking at our potential second unit of Vincent / Oladipo / Strus / Highsmith / Yurtseven, my only concern is it's a pretty young/inexperienced bunch outside of Vic. Kinda wish we had another vet in there - perhaps we will still add a 4 at some stage.

I am so glad we didn't trade him. People on T&T see him as a throwaway. It's so disrespectful. Heat found a gem. Just needs to do the work.

Vincent & Strus are both veterans at this point. They've played in the Finals and conference finals twice.

Yea I still think it’s pretty glaring we still need another big. We’re playing with fire I think

I think he'd have to boost to like 24 a game to really be considered for MIP. He's already at 18-19. There will be someone who comes out the gate and goes big (e.g. Haliburton) who will probably edge him out regardless.

Digging more into the numbers, tonight is exactly what I want to see from Herro. Less attempts (14-15) but increased efficiency to get his 20-24 a night. We won the Bam Herro Martin minutes too in a game we were getting smacked majority of the time
