Giving up 3 of RJ, Grimes, Obi, IQ is one thing...but to give that up and 3 unprotected first rounders which lasts through the end of the decade plus another protected pick or two just to get the salaries to match because they didn't want any bad money since the Cavs didn't include any.
This is the difference between the actual trade the Knicks would have needed to make to get Mitchell and the dur dur 'and they wouldn't trade RJ for him' or 'untouchable Grimes' BS the low IQ or trolling posters will posture as for years. These useless opinion folk will stop talking about the trade that didn't happen before the Knicks would have had to finish giving up picks if they made it. So stfu already you whiners.
I, for one, was studiously ignoring all the picks to fit with the rant narrative I wanted to do. When posting here, it's best not to let facts get in the way of things.
Which is why you won't let reality deter a good rant, it's so much easier that way.
It's just pretty funny how some posters focus on just one aspect of a large package as the reason why they want to whine and blame it all on that.
I feel bad for Grimes because he will forever be judged against Mitchell, probably the same for RJ when it was all of it, everything the Knicks would have had to give up that made it a difficult deal to close.
