Are people purposefully ignoring that the trade wasn't just for players? Utah wanted players AND picks... Giving up 3 of RJ, Grimes, Obi, IQ is one thing...but to give that up and 3 unprotected first rounders which lasts through the end of the decade plus another protected pick or two just to get the salaries to match because they didn't want any bad money since the Cavs didn't include any.

This is the difference between the actual trade the Knicks would have needed to make to get Mitchell and the dur dur 'and they wouldn't trade RJ for him' or 'untouchable Grimes' BS the low IQ or trolling posters will posture as for years. the FO just believes in RJ, it's really that simple. if RJ turns in a really good season this year, the bag becomes the max at the end of the year instead of the potential bargain at 4/130. as an RJ atheist, i wouldn't have locked him up early, but i can certainly see the logic behind it

I can see why as well but I just disagree with that philosophy. 4/130 sure doesn't seem like a bargain to me. He got the bag, so it's all on him now. We have reached the point to where there are no more excuses. He needs to step up and prove he's worth it now. I don't want to hear give him a few more years to get more comfortable, etc.. the time is now for RJ.

I don't know how it is possible, but every coach the Knicks have had during this millenium has been very weak at making in-game adjustments. Thibs did better on some points last night than I think he usually does, but that was the key adjustment he did not make and it probably cost them the game.

That is Ja Morant now, he'll blow by anyone but RJ played angles surprisingly well.

Morant got his 34 with 9 dimes but with 6 turnovers and was 11 for 24. When you check out the game, once Brunson went out with 2 fouls, Thibs moved RJ on him instead of matching IQ.

In seeing Brunson go out early RJ got caught in the rigs of the game and hopefully learned a lesson. Home teams are usually favored to win their first home game. It's good for the NBA.

Lol like I already said after preseason finale, I AIN'T even worried! Cream ALWAYS rises to the top !!

I'd honestly not been this excited about a talent since a raw Kobe in 1996. Imo he has PG13 physical tools (he may be actually longer than PG) and jump shots, a little bit of Kobe fundamentals with more fluidity on open court, and Kyrie flurry in-the-paint finishing creativity where he's seemingly always one counter-move ahead of defenders. And I haven't even talked about his passing (yes he's actually really good at slashing and kicking out or passing lobs or to cutters) and his defense.

Lol majority of you thought he's Scam Rubbish while I couldn't believe how soooo faar off we are... I am looking at Cam like Jerry West was looking at Kobe in 1996 damn!!! I still can't believe we got him for only Kevin Knox + 1st!! Pinch hard!!!

I hadn't collected NBA cards since Kobe RCs in 1996, this reminds me when all my school mates thought Kobe was just an unproven scrub, I scored many many Kobe cards from them for cheap, while they're collecting their "proven stars" GHill, Penny, MJ, Pippen cards. I got many many Cam cards in the off season!

The problem with raw talent is you have to spot them in limited minutes. Most people will only believe it when they see it, but that's the easy route and everybody can do it! If you wanna be an excellent talent evaluator you have to see it when you believe it!

This all said, it's only 1 game... and knock on woods barring injuries, he'll be our 23ppg, 8rpg, 4apg, 2 spg franchise player ahead of RJ, nothing against RJ, who I think will bounce back in next game and have a borderline All Star season, but that's not surefire All Star Cam is imo.

My mushrooms also desire rain. They seem pretty confident it's coming. If nothing else, the winds shift should tamp down the smoke. I hate it so much. FWIW though the mountains have been relatively clean. I was up on Hood collecting mushrooms last weekend and the air was pretty good.

nah, I'm just inside the last week or two of permit season. I've never done it so I'm pretty excited to bag it. I'm also through hiking the Enchantments that weekend. Did you enjoy hiking Helens?
