I've truly been disgusted by levels of protection this guy gets. Not only from the media, but also from the league and all of the players. Why is nobody taking hard stance against this clown? It's hurt his personal brand A LOT, and will likely cost him quite a bit in the offseason too, but he didn't actually hurt anyone or do anything illegal and he did make a significant donation and state that he doesn't have anything against Jewish people and didn't intend to hurt anyone.
I was never a fan of him anyway so this didn't change my mind on anything, but without watching the stupid movie (which I really don't want to do) it's hard for me to get that outraged about him linking to a video on Twitter. I mean, this has drawn more backlash from the league than Miles Bridges beating his wife and using social media to promote the use of dangerous drugs like lean.

He's somewhat distancing himself from the anti-semetic aspects of the film but he's still not apologizing for having promoted the film on his Twitter account. He could at least apologize for tweeting the link to the film without any context of what parts he endorses and what parts he does not. Without that context one must assume he endorses the entire film.

My question though is why doesn't anybody seem to take offence with Amazon? They are the ones selling the book. Making money off of this controversial piece of content seems to be far far far far far worse than what Kyrie did.

Kyrie should have been heavily fined. If Kobe Bryant gets fined 500k for making homophobic slurs, given the current market cap Kyrie's fine should be at least a million+.
