We got a lifetime of them, but it was in the pre-social media era, when the team was irrelevant. Bobby punching the hooker, Joe Smith in the hotel room (allegedly), Capt. Jack having rave parties in every city the night before games. TJ being in the drug bust, etc.

I meant to imply our current team, just flying under the drama radar.

My guess is Kyrie fights this by claiming they are discriminating against him for his religious beliefs and this gets really nasty.

The good old days. Now we have to put up with Giannis handing out shoes. Jingles and Pat giggling like school girls on the bench. Boring.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Social media is very icky now. Way more pro Kyrie folks than I'd hope to see.

Good on the Nets for finally taking action though.

That's all I'll say before I get too fired up.

That's what I'm thinking

Kyrie has shown he can be very stubborn with sitting out almost an entire year. This could be perceived by him as backing him into a corner and he may not take kindly to "re-education" attempts.

It is. IMO, Twitter is the literal worst of the mainstream and I don't think it's particularly close either. Facebook just gets more attention because your aunt Brenda is there and not on Twitter.

We had a lot of debates on this back in the day. The back story was he was hanging out and/or allegedly letting a big time dealer stay with him.

Magic with a nice third quarter against the Warriors. Love to see them win this

So as someone who has visited the board daily for ages -- long before I signed up for an account, back to the days of the pizza party and the scuttlebutt around how Mo Williams called out Bogut in the locker room -- can I ask what (allegedly) happened with Joe Smith in the hotel room? Don't want to derail the thread, but I'm so curious and can't recall this one for the life of me.

Imagine on the day Miles Bridges pleads no contest to felony domestic violence charges that it barely rates a blip on the NBA newswire.

Magic have almost 30 more free throws than the Dubs in a tie game. Warriors can't stop fouling to start the season.

Yeah, yeah, thought it he might be going that direction. Lol. But Europa and I had such massive debates on this, it was worth a revisit.
