We win. Go Jazz!

I like the quote- it makes me chuckle. And it was/is pretty much true.

The great: we've scored 40 points on the Fakers.....
The not so great: the Fakers have scored 34 points on us.......

These refs suck..... LM hit in the face three times...Where are the Ts? LBJ elbows him then bitch#$ like little baby about not getting the foul call for 5 minutes. Where is the T! Jazz playing great even with LA having 8 guys on the floor.

Re: Game 10: Utah Jazz (6-3) @ Los Angeles Lakers (2-5)
That was a fun game. Maybe it served also as an asset showcase for the Lakers so they could see what they can trade for and how it can improve their team.
After the game I checked the boxscore and was surprised to see that Beverley played 28 minutes. I didn't notice him at all. He seems wasted on a team like this. After watching the Lakers, I can understand why they are where they are. Lebron still puts up good stats but was also not very noticeable during long stretches of the game. I think the Westbrook situation draws so much attention that other issues this team has are not being addressed. Tonight Westbrook was very good and they still lost at home. They have bigger issues than Westbrook.
And props to Markkanen, the guy continues to impress. Another game where he showed why he'll be an All-Star this season. Dude is legit.

Re: Game 10: Utah Jazz (6-3) @ Los Angeles Lakers (2-5)
After Markkanen had a season low 10 fga in the Dallas game, it seemed like the Jazz were looking to involve Markkanen from the outset this Laker game. Markkanen was aggressive when they found him. He had 12 pts on on 5-8 shooting in Q1, along with 3 rebs, 2 ast and 1 blk.
After the Dallas game I lamented that Conley only got one shot attempt in Q4. This game Conley had 4 fga in Q4 and delivered 8 pts. Clarkson is arguably still pushing a little too hard to be the takeover man in Q4, taking 6 shots again and only scoring 4 pts, but his overall game, especially his jump in assists, has been good this season. I loved the final 30-21 Q4 score in favor of the Jazz.
Sexton is growing on me. He is super fast; he puts a lot of pressure on the opposing teams' defense and he can make nice passes when he wants to. His play is particularly impressive when you consider the fact that he was out for nearly an entire season and he is just getting back in to the flow of things.

Re: Game 10: Utah Jazz (6-3) @ Los Angeles Lakers (2-5)
Our offense were awesome, our deffense not so much, but overall we played a great game.
The best thing about this team it's our level is similar with starters or bench. Last years we suffered a lot when Gobert, Mitchell, Conley were benched, this year everyone it's contributing. Kessler did his thing, NAW did his thing, we are a deep team.
Right now we are 3rd, and we have played 10 games vs West
6 of them are vs teams who are in the 1st 8 places (2XGrizz, 2XNuggets, Mavs and Pelicans), 1 more vs a projected playoff team in Wolves, and another one vs Lakers who still have 2 former MVP doing at least fine stats and Davis.
Then 2 games vs dead end Rockets.
I think it's impressive what they are doing and I'm enjoying much more this year than other ones.

Re: Game 10: Utah Jazz (6-3) @ Los Angeles Lakers (2-5)
Great game for Jazz and Lauri but also great win.
Lauri made The King ( Lebron ) pissed and losing his nerves which was great to see.
Lebron also started whine and cry for the referees when Lauri defended him and draw a foul for Lebron.
With all respect for mr goat LBJ23 maybe it is time to start consider retirement and leave NBA courts for younger guys.
Lebron is geting old and his star is going to sunshine he isn't anymore that what he was 2-3 yrs ago but still he's great.
Lakers didn't lose because Lebron didn't have his best night Lakers lost because they underestimed Utah Jazz.
If there is one hard lesson which all NBA teams should know and realize it is that DON'T EVER underestimate underdog teams.
Utah Jazz has a time to get that respect what they deserve they have exceeded all expectations
so the legit question is that how long this will continue?
Season is still young and anythin can happen but if something is sure it is that games will become tougher step by step.
Lets see in December where Jazz are as a team and how many wins they have got more.
At least La Lakers legend James Worthy gives some credit for Utah Jazz.
Maybe Lakers should learn something for that loss.

The Jazz entered this game with one of the best records in the NBA, while the Lakers entered it with one of the worst. If anyone was the underdog, it'd be the Lakers.

Sexton was a dynamo in the 2nd quarter. Competing on both ends and moving without the ball. Seems to be forming a nice little chemistry with Kessler too. Sex is another that can get insanely hot from 3. It was good that Hardy took him out in the 3rd quarter when he started to play a little out of control and put in NAW. I have confidence they are going to have a ton of success developing guys like Sexton and Kessler. When those 2 are playing well our second unit might be the best in the NBA. Sexton is 23 and Kessler is only 21. There is going to be alot of one step back and two steps forward as they both are going to need coaching to fully reach their potential.
I also like how Lauri responded after the Dallas game. Conley is still such a good player and is the guy I want with the ball in his hands in the 4th quarter. JC has improved his playmaking but is trying to do too much. Sometimes it works like a charm and sometimes he just overdribbles and takes bad shots.
