Again, the closing lineup doesn't work. Luka is the only handler in clutch moment. Nobody can put the ball on the ground to create anything. If the lineup rely on Maxi, DFS and Bullock, then every team will force the ball away from Luka. Close the driving lane and dare Dinwiddle chucks from long range. And the Mavs defense is not what it needs to be against really good team. The whole group is still streaky from long range. That's annoying to watch.

As the Mavs is heavily relied upon Luka, expect difficult games with a lot of double team. Build a team spirit in San Antonio way. Even when Duncan, Parker and Manu are all out, the team still manages to compete and win games. No set rotation and minutes for this team. Whoever win the matchup, whoever gets minutes. It has to be run this way. Not Kidd way at all

The Mavs still sleeping on weaker team. Ugly start again. But Brookyln sleep on Josh Green and lose the game. The Mavs happens to win by luck. KD is not going to miss a lot of free throws.

I think the Mavs may try out Bertans-Luka lineup soon; and give minutes to Green and Ntilikina when rotation players struggle. Another weird attempts is that the 5-11 PG works very well for Legends; may get minutes if nothing's working.

We are missing a killer like Bertans, he opens the court like no other on this roster... You can't double Luka with Bertans on the court because you are died.

Our D is ok, we need more offensive power... SD, THJ and Wood are too discontinuous and streaky shooters.

Green in the closing lineup showed the trust he has built up gradually. His energy is infectious, he fits nicely next to Luka. He has become real competition to Reggie.

We need at least one more end of game reliable free throw shooter particularly if we're going to keep having these close games. Maybe Bertans helps with that but hard to tell since he rarely shoots them. Honestly was scared when we were going into a free throw battle with KD. Kudos to Luka and DFS for hitting them but having 70ish% free throw shooters to close games isn't exactly comforting.

Think the goal must be to get players to get their act together to kill games before that
