You caught that too?

Yep. Not just comparison gm to a player but one of the best gm’s to a player just doesn’t make sense.

I just worked out why Lakers want cap space open in 2023 offseason.

I bet that to get to $20m in to tax these past 2 seasons, Jeannie made the proviso that they had to pay no tax in 23-24 season.

Cap space is the best way to sell the players on a move that will ultimately be salary cutting. No chance a salary cap team can become tax paying in 1 season.

I bet they have sold Davis and LeBron on the great FA targets in 2023 but in reality the real motive is tax.

Westbrook 1-8 in 8 minutes lol. He had a few decent games but his crash back down to earth was inevitable.

If karma’s real, Jeanie will never land another superstar for what she’s done to the end of LeBron’s career.

What did she do? She got him Peak Anthony Davis, Russell Westbrook. Also Melo, Dwight, Rondo last year.

A bunch of vet minimum players and the worst contract in the league? Wow, that must have been some hardball negotiating she did.

Mentioning them as if they're in their prime. Dwight is playing in Taiwan for godsakes.

Stop it lmao. And LeBron got the Lakers AD. Jeanie had nothing to do with it.

On the plus side, LeBron looks good tonight.

Wtf happened to Nunn btw, very dissapointed

Even if no big deal, we definitely need to add a shooter to this team, give up some 2nds

I still try and go after Kyrie this year tbh

LeBron would’ve already passed Kareem by now if he was reffed like an ordinary NBA player, let alone like a superstar. The no call on that layup was obscene.

Huh!

Dwight won 3 DPOY, Westbrook won league mvp's and the all time leader in triple doubles and
Melo the all time leader in gold medals along with a scoring title.

Trolling, warned. trex

Lebron would have passed Kareem a long time ago if he played in more games. Averaging 55-56 games a season in his Lakers career.

I hope LeBron and Rich Paul do everything in their power to make sure another high profile free agent never signs with the Lakers again after his tenure is done

Yeah this Lakers team just has no shooting skill. I think they should be checking their shooting coaches. Feels like players get worse on the Lakers as shooting.

Hurt his groin ugh

Finally made some jumpers and now he's hurt. Season is shaping up to be an even bigger disaster than last year.

I can’t believe LeBron extended with one of the worst run teams in the league. Lakers won’t be good for a long long long time until the front office is completely overhauled.

What star would want to sign for them???
