Unbelievable. This bum is still on the team and they waive Isaiah Joe. SMH.

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

Was expected, now official.

I really hope he takes the next step as a playmaker and improves his shooting percentages.

Through first 3 games:

15.7 ppg (40% from three on 1.3 makes per game), 12.9% assist, 3.8% steal, 2.2% block

He's getting closer and closer. Some of you all better apologize to this kid!

Rounding out his game. He was a good defender and a good playmaker as a prospect. Now he's starting to make strides in his shooting. He's getting closer and closer to being that shoot/pass/defend role player like Melton.

Glenn will be coaching the Lakers by February.

As long as Sam knows his name, is all that matters.

Is he a combo guard or a undersized forward?

Between the two labels, I'd say undersized F. However, I do think he has the playmaking chops to be a combo guard.

Goes to show, these young guys need minutes. Bassey & Joe get a chance, without feeling as though every single minute and mistake could be their last, and show their abilities.

Every season my opinion is get these guys in the team early in the regular season, maybe one at a time and let their confidence grow. No point waiting till the play offs and needing them to all of a sudden be productive when relied upon due to injuries or what not.

Next we'll trade Reed to the Clippers for some plug n play stocking filler has-been, and we'll have an injury prone old bench warmer, and Reed will break out for them.

I'm becoming cynical in my short 4 years as a Sixer fan. Fcuk Ben Simmons drawing me in :banghead:

Can't give up on Springer yet. We knew he was a project when we drafted him. Besides, what's the rush? We have Shake and Melton. Let Springer cook in the G league and get more experience.

Springer better work out, because we've now released 3 players (Foster, Joe, Bassey) that on the surface look to have more potential than him. Even worse - we have an empty roster slot so we didn't have to release all 3.

What worried me the most the most was it looks like he’s put on some size and matured physically in the off season. Entering prime years too.

The difference between the two is that Joe has a distinct skill that’s ultra important and that is shooting.

Bassey I mean seriously he looks like a backup center right from the word go lol.
