Embiid out should help the Jazz, a lot.

I am worried about the Jazz' ability to defend Embiid. He is coming in hot --- 42 pts on 25 fga yesterday in a win over the Hawks, while Maxey got 26 pts on 18 fga.

At this time, Rotowire is showing Harden and Korkmaz out.

Embiid is a cheat code. There is literally no stopping him.

Replay being abused. You can't overturn the call on the floor without clear evidence.

What a game from Embiid, but it’s starting to feel like regression to the mean might be happening.

Fun is over and now Jazz are back to reality and tanking is turned ON.
And also Lauri's game performances and scoring numbers are coming down.

This was 2nd straight under 20 point ( 15 PTS ) game for him and these scoring numbers
he can say bye bye for his allstar game dreams. That 13 games good period with 4 games winning streak was fun so long it lasted.

Extremely impressed by Hardy so far. So this is not a criticism per se, but I am surprised we didn’t see Kessler on Embiid at any point. Unless I missed that.

He probably would have gotten smoked as well. But it would have been nice to see what he could do against the best big man in the NBA.

He's been a black hole. If he has the ball he is shooting it no matter how many defenders are on him, who is open, or how bad the shot is.

sometimes the shot falls an it turns out okay, but when it doesn't he looks real bad.

Sexton truly has tunnel vision too often and those moves and things
what he does during the games are either totally boneheaded or comical.

How on earth any casual and sensible Jazz fan seriously believes in that Sexton is Jazz future PG.
Clarkson has tunnel vision sometimes also but he at least tries to share the ball unless than Sexton.

Other teams taking notes: "So this is what we need to do to beat the Jazz." ;)

C'mon, I see a lot of overreactions here.

This was a back to back on the road, vs a Player who had an alltime game.

And we had opportunities to win it.

In my opinion, Hardy did not well. Kessler did well, and still had Udoka. When Embiid is scoring at will (And I think Olynyk did his best) you have to throw big bodies here to at least make him fight.
He scored a lot of FT, so If his fear was those two were to make a lot of fouls... it was not important tonight.

We´ll begin to win another time vs Knicks, but Hardy has to watch out his rotations, since sometimes he quit Kessler too soon, and let other ones too much.

To my eyes this wasn’t as much about Embiid going off as it was the Jazz offense collapsing. The last few minutes there wasn’t really any ball movement and the whole ‘lack of a closer’ narrative popped up.

I don’t think there’s reason to over react but I think we are experiencing regression to the mean a bit here. I don’t think even the wildest of us thought we’d be a sixty win team.

At least Sexton is shooting an incredible 7/10 (70%) clip in the 4th quarters while Clarkson is shooting 7/25 (28%). Clarkson shoots alot better earlier in games.

With that said they are both 6th man types on a good team and should be playing off another playmaker. Having an Ingles type secondary playmaker the past few years was huge. I agree with the Cleveland fans who said Sexton's best role should be playing off a big Doncic type distributor.

THT is another one that keeps barreling into the paint. I like the aggression but he's another that needs to learn to play within the system.
