He's been a black hole. If he has the ball he is shooting it no matter how many defenders are on him, who is open, or how bad the shot is.

sometimes the shot falls an it turns out okay, but when it doesn't he looks real bad.

Sexton truly has tunnel vision too often and those moves and things
what does during the games are either totally boneheaded or comical.

How on earth any casual and sensible Jazz fan seriously believes in that Sexton is Jazz future PG.
Clarkson has tunnel vision sometimes also but he at least tries to share the ball unless than Sexton.

At least Sexton is shooting an incredible 7/10 (70%) clip in the 4th quarters while Clarkson is shooting 7/25 (28%). Clarkson shoots alot better earlier in games.

With that said they are both 6th man types on a good team and should be playing off another playmaker. Having an Ingles type secondary playmaker the past few years was huge. I agree with the Cleveland fans who said Sexton's best role should be playing off a big Doncic type distributor.

THT is another one that keeps barreling into the paint. I like the aggression but he's another that needs to learn to play within the system.

What Ainge should do with Clarkson and Sexton trade them or keep them if both are 6th man type players?

I don’t think there’s reason to over react but I think we are experiencing regression to the mean a bit here. I don’t think even the wildest of us thought we’d be a sixty win team.

Agreed. Embiid had to be in position and take advantage, so I'm not saying he did nothing. It was a great game for him. But it was against freakin' Kelly Olynyk, with a lot of mid range, barely contested shots. And the blocks... well, I bet at least 3 were Jazz smaller Jazz players desperately & recklessly tossing the ball directly into his hand. He had 11 rebounds (good, but nothing "extra") and when actually stepping out to shoot outside his comfort zone, he was 1-5 from deep. Strong stat line, no doubt, but more impressive for a fantasy team than it was overwhelmingly impressive to watch, IMO. Call me a hater if you want. I'm trying to give credit. I just didn't see an "all time great" performance. <shrug>

Also, when a guy goes stat chasing at the end of a game like he was (trying to get to 60), I lose respect ... so there's also that.

Personally I would keep one and trade the other. Probably depends on alot of factors. Are they Jazz serious about winning games this season? Is Clarkson going to opt out of his contract next offseason and will Ainge extend him? Which one is agreeable to being a 6th man, which one can get the biggest return in a trade, etc. Regardless I don't see Conley and Clarkson as the starting backcourt of the future for this team.

They both kinda played selfish down the stretch last night but they are both microwave 6th man scorers which has been Clarkson's role since he entered the league and is Sexton's current role.

Regarding Clarkson and Sexton, Ainge should sell high on Clarkson, and build Sexton's value. If Sexton shows improvement and that he can be a building block, then maybe keep him. If not, build his value and trade him (his contract is decent and for several years so there is no rush).

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.
