They really do. The harsh reality is that if we brought back the same team with PJ we wouldn’t be the same because we’d be a year older. This is like that but even worse cause we have zero PFs now. At this point I don’t have much hope of anything turning this season around. I think we can make it out of the first round if things really turn around but not much more than that

This team is gimmickie as fck, Hit threes at above average clip or nothing....No size, No post game, No midrange, No suffocating defense, No blazing speed, No rim pressure from elite ball handlers, we do not carry any advantage outside of a Gimmickie small ball DHO's.

Never in my close to probably 30 something years of following Pat Riley would I have ever thought he would succumb to this small ball garbage. The Pat Riley who alway took pride in his 4’s and big men making a physical impact on games.

Ironically I think it’s been more about cost savings than anything (ironic bc we got into the tax anyway, overpaying garbage like Duncan). The more I’ve thought about it, especially in light of this past off season, I don’t think the FO has ever really believed in this team as a true contender and has just been pleasantly surprised by the results. All while biding time to land a whale to make a team they actually believe in and will invest in and get behind.
