Is it me or this kid Jovic scores the basket with ease? So much different from Bam. I am not saying he is better than Bam but I guess he could be in a few years.

Spo always does this. He picks a starter as not to mess with the rotations too much. He likes Dedmon off the bench, so will leave him there.

Hopefully Jovic plays his way into regular minutes though. He should be playing the 4 over Duncan/Strus.

So you are saying that Jovic could have a great game tonight but once Bam comes back, Jovic will never play a minute again?

Yes that's how it works in Miami...

How it was w Yurtseven last year

If I had to guess, Spo wanted to keep Jovic shelved until he saw an opportunity to throw him out there for a good game (for confidence reasons).

Or it could be another instance of Spo overthinking things. :reporter:

He’s still a spotard why tf is he playing Highsmith in situations where Jovic can obviously contribute

Koloko and Boucher together is going to be extremely tough on us. We just don’t have the bodies to counter that.

For sure. Every Highsmith minute is absolutely criminal.

I'm not watching the game, but the stat sheet has a Jovic sighting...hell...it even has a Cain sighting. What hell is going on? I'm so confused.

Bam and Herro out. He basically has no choice lol

Ahh...I didn't notice Bam was out. I thought it was a Spovolution.

If we can amnesty this bum it would be a lifesaver for this franchise. Just get another 3 n d guy at that price and we may be a competitive team

Outside of the points (which were obviously fantastic) I am happy that he got minutes without spamming fouls. That’s an improvement. He did looked fatigued though which has been an issue since he got here.

Robinson makes me sad, but Strus is not too far behind. The dude is losing his mojo.

So far so good, but we're going to have to score a ton to win.

This is why Jimmy will never be known as one of the greatest to ever play, because on a day like today with all your best guys out, you don't want any of it and is completely fine letting a the rest of the team try and pull it out. Not to mention were now trying to get back on the top of the East in a very competitive year. No matter how good he does in the playoffs he doesn't sniff a first option superstar for me, those guys bring it every day.

Don’t let us get one. — Nikola Jovic

Dru Smith very lucky he got that 500k this year. He should invest and manage a subway after all this-MettaWorldPanda

It’s a daily reminder that this is what the front office constructed though. They thought that Highsmith could be a regular contributor when he’s obviously not

That would cripple our cap for a half decade or more.

OG would be a PF for us. He’s large and athletic. And he is a sg for them. As much as we play a similar style as Toronto, we have completely different roster constructions.
