I like the way you think.

I mean, I wanted to tank for Luka, but you know, we had to see what Dion Waiters had to offer. I've given up on that dream.

You kidding? Ppl would say we play better without him bc defense and wanting to build around Mo Bamba lol

6’7 6’5 6’5 6’3 6’0 that was our closing lineup. How are we setting basketball back this bad?

If we’re going to tank we should be looking to blow it up even further, which I don’t think we’d do. I’m talking about trade Jimmy/Bam/Herro for draft capital or younger disgruntled players. I can’t see tanking with Jimmy in the team unless he gets injured

Well in this case you trade Jimmy and Lowry, but no point on trading the young players such as Bam/Herro for lateral move to draft MORE young players.

I can’t even begin to tell you how disappointed i am in the old man. It feels like he’s just a face at this point with Spo having full control.

By the way tonight's game was the easiest of the next 7 coming our way, who the other East teams in the next 7 are better offensive teams than Toronto, God help our souls. Maybe if we go winless it will trigger the team finally going tank mode. being 7-15 will be the point in which we probably finally come to our realization.

Maybe we get lucky and get a really number one option for a change, then we can worry about the Bams and Herros of the league. I dont really think we have a cornerstone player to build around.

Spo is saying this was a prototypical Raptor's game. How about a prototypical Miami Heat midget rotations game, i mean dude is the same thing night in and out

He can't say otherwise, come on be realistic, his not gonna call out the executive team not being able to field a competent team. He will always say they have enough, its effort, the other team played out of their mind. He also cannot put his players in a mental state that no matter what they do they will be in detrimental position every game, he cannot add that negativity by calling it how it is.

This is gotten to a point of beyond ridiculous for a professional NBA team. To not realize that size is key in basketball, it’s like saying speed in Football means nothing. If Spo was a football coach (American football), his 11 guys on the field would consist of only 300 plus pound linemen.

Everyone’s going to get mad that I say it but I don’t see it for Bam as some soon to be superstar the way a lot of you do. Even if he makes the step to actually become a superstar, which is a stretch, I still don’t see him as a leader on a championship team. Same with Tyler, but that goes without saying since he’s dumped on every day on here.

I want a Ja morant, SGA, even a BF Zion if he can ever stay healthy type.

Couldn’t disagree more but I know that that’s the resounding explanation on here to not so subtlety absolve Riley of this **** roster.

I never hear ANYONE ELSES name mentioned when we haul a whale, but suddenly when we have a roster we don’t like it’s everybody but Riley lol

I'm not disappointed in Riley he has done a great job for decades now, I think it's already in the hands of the Next Generation and he's just a face and an okay defender of lost causes...spo and the other guys in the FO have to pick it up now

I mean even his right hand man Zo who was one of the best rebounding and shot blocking Centers in this league can’t honestly believe this is it right? This team seems like it was put together by a bunch of analytics nerds.

I agree to a point, but I just don’t see teams giving up top draft picks that they themselves would utilize. I can only see teams that are ready to compete for something giving their draft picks in which case it wouldn’t make sense as it wouldn’t be lotto picks.

If we get KD tomorrow no one is going to call Spos name as the person who brought him here. Literally no one. It has to work both ways.

I agree that Riley is one of the GOATs though. He kind of the primary reason I am a heat fan believe it or not. But he has been bad since LeBron punked him and he decided to take it out on D Wade.

Why advocate for tanking when the top prospect is literally a foot too tall to get playing time?

We can tank for Scoot (6'2) and play him at the 4

Return to Miami Heat
