The worst. Hasn't scored for the US since 2018, and only twice in 17 career appearances. But hey, he's having a solid season in the Championship so let's keep rolling him out there.

Reyna needs to be out there.

The point of having games at the same time is to avoid rigged outcomes.

For example, let's suppose team A plays late; they know that if they win, they will face the 2nd position of group B, but if they draw, they will face the 1st position of the same group.

Obviously, in this scenario all team B games have already happened.

Now let's suppose it's better for them to face the 1st position (from the other group), they match up better with them and it's a weaker adversary as well.

So they go into the match knowing, in full advance, what result they need to have to face the adversary they want to face.

Hope I gave you a clearer picture, Grey. Cheers.

Thank you! To you and everyone who took the time to explain.

I was bleary eyed and pissy about having to watch two games simultaneously. Of course, after a cuppa, it's getting to watch both at once now!

Now don't be satisfied, continue to press for more.

Or are they going to fizzle out after getting the goal lead, like they did against Wales?

Great ball in to Dest who knocked it down perfectly for Pulisic. Hopefully he’s not too hurt.

England playing some seriously sublime football here. Rashford skewed a bicycle kick attempt wide, right after an incredible move that resulted in a Foden chance going over the bar. Very impressed, just need to find the net now.
