If he were traded, would you be upset?
I honestly haven't had enough time to get emotionally attached to him.

Swiss Army Knives are very handy but in truth they spend 90% of their lives in a drawer. The purpose-made tool for each job is just that bit more effective and easy to use.

Beautiful!
I do agree about his shooting touch, even at the rim...many of his drives culminate in the ball "finding it's way in" after bouncing around. When I do that once, it's luck...When Bol does it 5x a game, it's touch! He's so intriguing and I hope Mose finds the perfect application of this bizarre weapon we've found.
We may never know because Chet has only played a handful of games against NBA-type players. He's really good against short players.JTG_92940618 wrote:leo7 wrote:ucfmay2000 wrote:Bol’s game reminds me some of Chet’s game. At this time, I don’t know if Chet is better than Bol but I feel like Magic just luckily landed #1 and #2 last year pick. Any thought???
I agree but I think Chet is still a better shooter and a smarter defensive player than Bol is right now. But that could maybe change if Bol keeps improving.
Chet is a much more careful and deliberate player than Bol. It's like the difference between Franz and RJ.

I would like to see Magic face playoff opponent, or at least somebody who will drag them into full game of half court to see how his game holds.

This trade wasn't some conspiracy - it was just a GM wanting AD bad enough where in most people's eyes he overpaid by a long shot to get him.

If there was one trade that could improve the current Magic team it would probably be for a veteran center who can battle in the middle like Valanciunas or Zubac. We certainly need WCJ back but we also need a backup behind him.
Bol, M-Wagner Paolo each look like power forwards.

He has too many flaws, specifically on defense and finding success on offense within a halfcourt structure, to justify starting him.
They can keep starting him right now because none of this matters, but eventually he's gonna have to go to the bench.

Agreed but he is still relatively young with little NBA experience. The problem is, to me, he is a SF/PF and we have those spots locked by Franz and Paolo. It may make sense to figure out how to feature him and then trade him for a backcourt starter.

I think him being a SF/PF is the less of his problems. Other than being a scorer he really brings little else to the game. He has the same issues of a Jabari Parker.
