I think Fred's play as of recent cannot be defended by any posters. The guy has been bad.

However, it does get tiring seeing the same posters rip on him while giving Barnes a free pass.

If you're gonna trash one player (and it is justified to be honest), at least be fair and trash everyone playing like ass and not pick favourites.

The question isn't "could we be better without Fred", it's "could we be better without Fred's unconditional 36+ minutes a game?" A Fred that is not part of the protected class, a Fred that can be benched when he has sorry performances like this. Unfortunately, less Fred is never Nick's answer. Quite the opposite actually, Nick's solution to whatever is ailing the team at any given moment is usually more Fred. And that is what powers the "trade Fred" sentiment, because the only way for Nick to play him less is if he can't play him at all.

because barnes is part of the future and is only in his second season. his time will come surely if he busts u can count on it.

One player is considered to be the leader of the team who's tagline is bet on yourself, so its easier to hate on him.

The other is a young player who's having confidence issues and dealing with injuries.

If his shots aren’t falling, wtf does he even provide. His defence fell off too. Can we please ship nurse with Fred? I guarantee u we become better instantly when this happens. Celtics have had two rookie coaches back to back and they are killing it

funny thats what i said at last years all star break. He busted his ass getting into the all star game when the other stars are still warming up and gearing up for mid season. fred was playing 40 mins a night blitzing everything for good defensive numbers.
