so he's a choker based on 2 ab's?

well when you are arguably the best hitter on the team and you dont deliver during those two key ABs with RISP then the term is called choking.

In fact in general you could say Rich Hill choked and Ted Lilly choked and so on.

Who gives a ****. The Cubs got to the playoffs and got embarrassed.
Todd Helton and Matt Holliday got clutch hits in September and got their teams to the playoffs and they are still winning.
Meanwhile our players choke.

Nobody is questioning his contributions in the regular season. Nobody has. Nobody. We're calling him a choker tonight, in the playoffs, and when it matters. If you deny that, you're a fool. Numbers and film don't lie.

A-Rod gets his Yankees to the playoffs and has incredible regular seasons. But go try and convincing Yankee fans he's not a choker.

Fact is fact.

Saving Zambrano for a potential game 4 looks dumber and dumber with every pitch Rich Hill throws... what a dumb move by Piniella!

Hope the bullpen can keep it close and the bats wake up... Livan Hernandez looks like Cy Young out there, geeez!
Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things. And no good thing ever dies...

look at A-Rod does his MVP season mean anything to yankee fans? No!!

you gotta deliver in the playoffs. Im not the kinda of fan that is just happy to be here, I wanna win. This team is built to win. The D-backs are the kind of team that is happy to be here cuz they are so young and inexperienced, however we are the ones that look that way.

i agree... but it's not like aram consistently chokes in the playoffs... this is a 3 game sampling.... what about '03??? I agree he is choking right now.... but it is baseball and slumps happen, and he's in the middle of one.

How come we always get down 0-2 and then walk batters?
