2ND Q: SPURS 51 ROCKETS 54

Despite that end of Q 3, we won the Q by a couple of points, scoring more than in the previosu Q, and defending well, so overall a good half.

Again, we're missing three starters and are playing multiple rookies in important roles. I love the effort of Tre and Keldon. We're getting whatever we want in the paint where we lead 36-30.

Our bench has seven points so far. We made 3-7 3s this Q, so better, but we NEED guys to keep driving and playing assertively. Only2-3FTs.

We must be more diligent in rebounding where we are down 20-17, and 8-4 on O boards. With new bodies in, our 9TOs, four by Collins alone, have resulted in 11 points.

Bassey's blocks are crushing in the best way.

Some fundamentals - crisp passes but don't pick up the dribble too soon and come to the ball more; box out; RUN BACK ON D; cut, screen drive, drive drive, keep the pivot foot, keepg talking and moving and hustling!

3RD Q: SPURS 90 ROCKETS 77

Strange, scrambly end to the Q but we fought like hell for a 39-point output and turning a 7-point deficit into a 13-point lead.

Loving the 3s falling 8-13!, loving the D to O transition, loving the assertive drives.

All our guys are contributing well.

Only 3 TOs.

I wonder what your guys think when Pop motions to push it down the court and we just trot it a bit faster?

Isn't fear or getting lit up in a timeout - like Pop just called now - or getting benched or just pride in executing what coach tells you to do a motivation?
