The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

May be absence of Sexton will partially compensate the absence of Conley. So Jazz will win.

Man... I expected Conley playing... We´ll see a lot of NAW I guess... Maybe THT.
Any word on Lauri?

Rotowire currently has Conley listed as green-likely, Markkanen as grey-toss up with illness, Font as grey-toss up with ankle and Sexton as red-out with hamstring.
I hope Gobert gets a big round of applause at introduction, but then Kessler and Jazz go out and beat the Wolves!

What is this "illness" with Lauri? Flu, stomach bug or something?

I like the quote- it makes me chuckle. And it was/is pretty much true.

Gobert is leading all scorers at the half with 14 points and 9 rebs. Kessler had three fouls in 8 mins. Might have to free Doke.

Not gonna lie, Rudy's troll at the end was funny. Well played Rudy.

Re: Game 28: Utah Jazz (15-12) vs Minnesota Timberwolves (12-12)
We really missed some shot creators in this game. There was a lot of standing around and watching Clarkson trying to make something happen. It was good to get Conley back but we still needed more shot creation and Sexton's absence, as someone who is good at collapsing defenses, was felt.
NAW had another solid game, which is nice to see.
We really missed Markkanen in this game, he would have created a lot of matchup problems for the Wolves.
Gay played 16 minutes but he wasn't hitting anything and it really hurt the Jazz. He also took numerous bad shots.
The decision by Hardy to go to a zone defense didn't work, and we also didn't adjust when DLO was torching us.
The dunk in the end by Gobert was unnecessary. Zion did something similar in tonight's game against the Suns and it caused a scuffle. At least Zion's dunk was pretty awesome.
Since we aren't tanking, this was game a missed opportunity. We really need to give Minnesota as many Ls as possible.

I'm not sure if we aren't tanking.
Too many stupid losses and some absences too long.
This year the league is crazy... to many teams are pretty inconsistent. They win vs one team, then losses vs other which you assume is worse. Only Celtics and Bucks are showing some power. West is.. meh. Even teams with great players (lakers, GSW) are underperforming big time.

I assume that if we were tanking we'd have a much worse record than this.

We have lost 10 of our last 15 games.
Feauting loses at home vs Knicks, lillard-less Blazers, Detroit, Chicago and Towns-less Wolves. And we won vs curry-green-wiggins-less Warriors by an absolute miracle.

Yep, we didn't have the "chaos" with the ball popping around and attacks from multiple players like Hardy favors. The Jazz only scored 108 points and had 22 assists. It's great to get vet Conley back, but we are better when both Conley and energetic young Sexton are available for the guard rotation. And we definitely missed Lauri's incredibly reliable and efficient 22.2 ppg on 65.4 TS%.
