2ND Q: SPURS 55 HEAT 52

I'll start where I left off - end of Q details. Tre with two chances to score, first he got blocked, we got the ball out of bounds, and then Tre missed the left baseline tear drop. It's a shot he usualy makes. Maybe be felt rushed? The more players have these chances to score, the better we'll be poised to make them. Devin before him missed and end of 1ST Q shot as well. Into the toolkit.

Keldon is wonderful inside and out, leading us in scoring with 17, leading us with 3-4 from 3, leading us with 6-6FTs.

Tre is struggling mightly, only 1-8, and Sochan has yet to score, 0-4. But Tre has 6 assists, and Sochan 3, so we're sharing the ball well with 17 assists at the half already.

We moving the ball better with noticeable cuts into the key, swinging the ball to weak side, drive and kicks, high low passes, just much much better movement. Jakob and Sochan were so missed with respect to these.

Welcome back, Jakob! Great rim protection and D responsibility. Terrific running down the middle. Occupies a lot of attention. Collins has stepped up well on both ends when subbed in for Jakob as well.

Devin stat stuffing again. If only his 3s could start going through the basket... LOVE his D and scoring created from his dribble.

Our bench is outscoring theirs 21-9 which is huge for us.

We have made 8-16 from 3, 18-43FGs and that's with some missed bunnies, and an improved 11-15FTs.

Our vertical game is garnering some good fouls and our better movement is rewarding us with some better shots.

We know a push is coming and we must be ready for it. Keep pushing at them, make sure that their best scorers are always contested, make the most of our scoring chances, protect our arc and paint. Be aggressive, play clean, stay poised. D to O let's go!
