That last post was not meant to be self praise or attention seeking.
It just BOGGLES MY MIND how the Wizards staff drafts so poorly.

Nets beat Bucks by 18. They’ve been the best team in NBA recently.
Ben Simmons is fun to watch when he’s playing with confidence. A unique talent.
Was Steve Nash a bad coach or just had bad luck? Doesn’t matter now. Vaughn definitely doing a good job.

Hey CCJ,
I know in the past we have agreed about the NBA refs being half-professional wrestling in their approach (making the teams that aren’t “supposed” to win work harder in the third). For instance, this last Phoenix game with the flood of “offensive” fouls and ticky tack calls. Notice though, now with the challenge, it re-rights the ship, because they have to admit they were wrong. And when they are way off, like that attempt at an offensive charge foul against Rui, people see it over and over and have time to judge it. And not only does it stop the momentum of the refs, it hands a moral and momentum victory to the team that “isn’t supposed to win.”
Without that challenge, we would have continued to spiral into a loss.

Soooo... Lakers get it, right? The narrative of an aging generational star mentoring a younger generational star as they win one more championship for the LeGipper is too much to pass up. They'll be celebrating it in bad movies and Sprite commercials for years to come. Maybe they even add Kyrie for pennies on the dollar and convince him to take a buzzer beating Covid shot, FTW.

The Pelicans have the right to swap with the Lakers pick due to the Anthony Davis trade!
So if LAL gets #1... NOLA is taking it and LAL will get NOLA's pick in the 20s.
Zion and Wemby though

Jokic has pretty much perfected the game of basketball on offense.
Last night, going against the best team in the league, Jokic finished with 30 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists in just 32 minutes. He had 0 turnovers and missed just 3 shot attempts (.908 TS%). The Nuggets won by 12.

Seems to me that chart is missing one key parameter - the odds for the

Re Donovan - When I'm wrong, I can be spectacularly wrong. Going into the season, I thought
Mitchell was overrated.
Pretty exciting ATL-GSW game last night. Sometimes I feel like Tre Young is overrated too
but in spite of the loss for ATL, he played pretty well. And Klay is back.

Re: NBA Games Discussion Thread - Part 5
I still think Trae is overrated if the comparison is Curry. He's more like Dame - doesn't have the off-ball skills to play like Curry.

^ fair point
Trae is not quite top shelf.
Fair or not, the standard is how many playoff series wins can you carry your team to.
Trae did pretty well 2 years ago, but not so much last year.
