The Pistons will have to go on without Cunningham for the rest of the season. Of course, it didn't stop them from beating the Jazz at SLC.
Sexton is still listed as OUT
Olynyk is listed as day-to-day.
Interestingly enough, other than rebounds, Bojan and Markkanen are putting up very similar stats.

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

I just only hope we win this one.
We need it after 2 losses which shows who we are.

We're actually not that far away from getting a high draft pick. There is still time to tank.

IMO tanking is a maligne phenomena in pro sports. High draft pick guarantees nothing in terms of making your team a contender. It only guarantees you get to pick among the first.
Hopefully they'll win.

Watching ex Jazz players Bogey is the hardest one for me to watch, wouldve been good to keep him although we wouldnt have gotten Olynik,

I was prepared for Markkanen to not get enough fga in the second half, notwithstanding his hot start, as usually happens, but this game Markkanen got 10 fga/half while scoring 19 pts/half. And while Clarkson sat the entire Q4, Markkanen got 6 fga and 10 pts in Q4. Markkanen is at an impressive .668 TS% on the season.

I was prepared for Markkanen to not get enough shot opportunities in the second half, notwithstanding his hot start, as is usually the case, but this game Markkanen got 10 fga in both halfs while scoring 19 pts/half. While Clarkson sat the entire Q4, Markkanen scored 10 pts on 6 fga in Q4. Markkanen is at an impressive .668 TS% on the season.
To give credit when it's due, and I have been very critical of him here: Clarkson really got the message after he was pulled in Q1. The rest of the game was the most balanced and productive play I have ever seen from him. If he can stay on that track, Utah should be a playoff team.

He had 6 assists, and "only" 2 turnovers, it looked like he tried to get his teammates involved......I thought he played much more under control this game..... Of course we were playing the Pistons, so, let's see what happens when we play a better team...... No offense to the Pistons.......

Looks like Hardy decided to do something about shot-hogging of Jazz guard. Good luck for him if so.
It looks that guards ball- and shot-hogging is a huge problem in modern NBA. They almost openly refuse to consider creation shoots more efficient big players as their first priorities and just keep chucking huge volumes of low efficient shots which give them good line in stats and recaps. And when on their lucky day all shots go in and game is won despite their selfish attitude, they use it as excuse for "just stay aggressive" why laying bricks and losing winnable games.
It is especially difficult for coach to deal with that attitude if his guard is considered as cornerstone star of a team. Luckily for Jazz Cour current guards are not in that category, but even so Hardy has a tough job to keep them under control.

It's crazy he's already up to 44% 3pt for the season. He's been hot and getting hotter. Damn shame he doesn't get more touches.
Last 19 games he's at 52%, 70% TS
Last 9, 57%, 77% TS

Clarkson is very athletic and entertaining. He's handled the move from bench player to starting guard pretty well: keeping up his non stop energy for more minutes per game, keeping up his relentless attacks to break down the defense and increasing his assists per game from 2.5 to 4.5 apg. And with Conley and Sexton missing a lot of games recently, his ability to put pressure on opponents' defense has been critical. I want even more from him though. I would like to see him focus on passing to an open man more often, increasing that apg number to 5 plus and playing a little better defense.
