Yeah, final form would be what you do in a game. He should do better doing it that way but for God's sake man, do it in practice or shoot around. Its not meant to be used in a game unless for some reason you make 95% of them that way

If the coaches told him to do it in the game I guess he has to but I don't agree with that at all. Its not helping him.

Mate this is his best FT shooting game of the season so far. It IS helping ALREADY. He doesn't care how it looks. He cares about results. Love it.

There's nothing about 'meant to be used in a game' except convention. Catering to it slavishly if it doesn't work is nonsense; trying something else is awesome. If the unconventional WIP works already, no idea why he shouldn't try it. I'm not understanding your issue with it besides how it looks. Who cares? That drill is meant to help people shoot properly by over exaggerating how you balance the ball and square your shooting arm for proper release. Its meant to help you shoot properly with 2 hands, not to forever shoot with one hand. It might feel better to him now because its different than what he was doing but its not going to help him be a more consistent FT shooter. It just isnt. If anything he will develop even more bad habits and get worse. I'm sure our coaches aren't that dumb and this is just temporary.

3RD Q: SPURS 75 PELICANS 94

Another spurt to chip into the deficit and cut it to 13, another tied Q by the end to bring the lead back up to 20.

It's just to comfortable for them even as we are only 8-7 in made 3s now.

We've put them to the FT line 22-24 already which is a game's worth of attempts on many nights.

20 TOs are damning, too.

Just bleeding points inside now with passes into the paint, passes out, and our lack of adjustment on their too easy.drives.

We're not making them feel us, except for maybe Stanley and Sochan.

At least make it competitive.
