Wow we didn't even bother to contest on that cutter. Just... trotted on by.

Just saw the replay. That was Sochan's mistake. Ball watching without paying attention to guys around him. We also have to help each other out in communicating when we see cutters.

This was the SGA foul? That is the reason right there.

Yep. I mentioned in the last two game reports that even though Devin is terrific in those passing lanes for steals, his D hasn't been as crisp. He's paying more attention to his O. Usually in the 3rd year guys really want to make a push and stand out for that next contract. Don't blame him. It's crucial for his career. And his D is good enough to keep him on the court, but he hasn't been as up on his man, hasn't contested as well, leaving too much space at times. Tough, too, when we've got rookies making lots of mistakes on D end and others have to make up for it time and again.

Nice we are at least showing some juice on that 7-0 run.

AAW a wedding proposal! She said Yes!

(I wouldn't like this type of unromantic public setting for it, but hey good for them).

Bobble ball didn't break our way twice, third chance results in a 3 against.

OOF Sochan bad pass down the middle for the easily picked off TO. Too much space to cover with too many hands in the way.

And then we TO it again...

Sochan on strong side decides to take a contested shot with two Spurs - Malaki and Keldon - on the upper left and wide left weak side. Not a good decision. Not good vision and execution for good to great shot creation.

Both Malaki and Keldon sort of slapped their arms at their sides at the decision. They knew the ball had to keep moving.

The temptation for the rookie to take the shot when he's closer has to be overcome.

That's twice we should have passed it to Jakob who was fighting in the post for position versus a smaller player and didn't.

We ran clock and rushed a missed J farther out.

Keldon didn't box out on D and they got the O board putback.

Not a great end to the Q...

I did like Tre splitting two defenders and that he recovered the ball even though we missed the shot.

You're saying a Tuesday night Spurs/Thunder game on a freezing night in December with both teams trying to lose isnt romantic??

2ND Q: SPURS 60 THUNDER 70

Read on Twitter

Well, it's a fair point. Imagine getting to sit courtside and hear the full interactions each game lol

We're different team with Pop at the helm. Just a different, more competitive feel.

End of Q details - they outscored us 7-2 in the final two or so minutes, hitting another late Q 3. Now we've given up two 30+ point Qs in a row. You can't give up 70 bloody points at the half.

Keldon, JRich, Malaki, and Romeo (didn't even notice him in the game, to be honest) are inefficient; the rest of us are shooting well enough.

Jakob and Collins are each 3-3 so hopefully we get them involved on O more. Get Sochan more involved, too. He's all over the place. Some mistakes, but from inexperience and some rushing/lack of recognition and not lack of effort variety.

We aren't physical enough in getting stops, allowing 53.5% from the field, 9-14 form 3 for 64.3%! and a whopping 15-18FTs.

We have taken 12 more FGAs overall but are 5-18 from 3 (nearly matching yesterday's total already) and only 3-4FTs. You can see Pop's point. Then again, we are not aggressive enough in making a stronger case for ourselves so that's a factor, too.

We do have a 36-26 points in the paint advantage, one of the few going our way.

Bench points 41-18 bench points is a big OOF, too.

Run back on D. Box out. Get to the FT line a lot more. Contest the 3s. Watch out for the cuts - communicate batter.

 I do have a soft cozy blanket. Maybe on mute with some nice music on. Ella Fitzgerald and Joe Pas or something...

That Sochan block just now was sexy........

Sochan rookie mistake. Exposes the ball for a big. Have to time those right and not leave the ball out there as a target to get swatted.
