I do think the Lakers are an interesting trade partner with a variety of options. Would Dlo, Prince, and a sign and trade for Nowell be enough for Westbrook and 1st rd pick?
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.

I’m slowly getting more and more into the idea of D’Lo for Lowry, especially if they can get Miami to pay to get out of that last year (think a swap of Max Strus and Jaylen Nowell).
Rest in peace Mamba. There'll never be another Kobe.

I don't see it. We're not giving up nearly enough value to warrant a 1st rounder coming back.
D'Lo would just be an expiring contract to them. Prince doesn't move the needle, but does add salary to their books next year and Nowell just isn't that good or valuable.

Thank you, for a kind advice! I actually never thought about it!
LOL, I disagree with you a lot, but even I see you in GameDay threads
Yeah, I watch games but I am in Europe, so it is a bit tricky for me to watch live games. Also League Pass has been awful this year, so sometimes I actually cant watch games because of various LP issues. Also I am very emotional, so I try not to overreact in game threads. Thats why I dont write a lot, but I try to do homework if I have questions. For instance, I recently try to understand how good NBA teams beat zone defense, I understand that Finch tried Ryan and Forbes to beat offense with swing-swing passing and shooting. I saw that Anderson singlehandedly can beat zone simply by applying pressure "from the nail". But I am currently watching how other teams play against zone. Why I am doing it? Because MIA loss was embarrassing and disgusting, it left bad taste in the mouth. I could easily start myriad topics such as "Fire Finch, we are doomed because of Kahnelly, trade anyone build around Edwards". I just find it counterproductive and toxic for myself. I'd rather invest this time in self education or be more with my four children.

Paying to get out of that last year is a given

Would you trade Reid, Nowell, Forbes for Saddiq Bey, Killian Hayes, two SRPs?

Prince is non-guaranteed next year
I could see that trade without the first, where Lakers want some shooting and Wolves just want someone who plays hard consistently

Right, it totally makes sense without the pick for them. There is no way they include one of their only 2 remaining assets in that deal.

Seth Curry and Patty Mills playing time have gone down since Vaughn became Net's coach..I feel like both of them can be lot more useful for us as we currently don't have many good 3 point shooting guards. Mills also can play as PG. Seth is an expiring contract whereas Mills has another year left on $6M. Either of them feels like a realistic trade option..price won't be steep and fits in our roster needs well

Re: Re: Trade Talk (Part Eleven): 2022 Offseason Edition
I was just looking at list of teams who need 3pt shooting, and Wolves came up as an option for the Nets as a trade partner. Seth has indeed struggled mightily as of late, and he looks like the most obvious trade piece for the Nets to use. I think from the Nets end, the Wolves player of interest would probably be Naz Reid, but I'm not sure how you guys value him right now.life_saver wrote:Seth Curry and Patty Mills playing time have gone down since Vaughn became Net's coach..I feel like both of them can be lot more useful for us as we currently don't have many good 3 point shooting guards. Old news but I would trade Kat for Randle and RJ Barett. Randle is considered a stretch 4 now. Bet other pfs in this league can't bully him cuz he's a strong dude. Randle and Gobert would grab all the boards.
Simarily I would trade Gobert for Randle and Barrett too.. Maybe Knicks can add in Mitchell.

Maybe we can join the myles turner sweepstakes.. Gobert for turner and hield would work salary wise. We could use hield as a 6th man. Expensive 6th man but he's a FA after '24.

Trades must include…
1. PG … an actual PG
2. IQ … we are not a very bright team
3. TJ’s … 1 year supply of the super-burrito combo meal, medium, with a side of cheese.
Ok … maybe a PG with a strong BBIQ…. And TJ’s

I remember hating playing against Patty Mills. He could be a like a Bev veteran the Wolves could bring in.

Randall and Barrett have very little value. This is a massive overpay for MIN.

According to me the GM and the staff will make what ever it takes to make it works...Gobert will stay with us for the next years...

Cavs looking for wing help. Prince and novell for Levert and Okoro would be nice.
Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
