Right now, how can you say that Banchero for example deserves to be placed on such lists? Based on 30 games? It's not fair to him.

Technically Banchero's career stats are 20-7-4 which put him on this list which is not based on career achievements but mostly on average production during prime years. And if you say it is based in his case only on 30 games sample isn't that actually an argument in his favor because out of all 30+30 names listed just a few (not more than 5) have more impressive numbers in the first 30 NBA games than Banchero! That said, of course, it is not a guarantee for his future HoF level, but is a very good sign.

Much more is the complicated cases of Tim Duncan and Karl-Anthony Towns. Duncan is from the US Virgin Islands which is a US territory but is an independent member of the IOC and FIBA, and KAT which is born and raised in the USA represented as the junior Dominican Republic.

Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic have their own decent national teams in FIBA competition should be excluded.

For those born in the USA, it is not the same if players who have no chance to play for the team USA chose during their playing career to represent some other random country and like in Paolo Banchero's case who is #1 draft pick and would play for the USA if he wants
