Exactly. And Masai is not gonna let him go for cheap. Remember how they asked for picks and Maxey for the corpse of Lowry

I think his value is pumped by their roster and system. Guys like Nembhard was able to generate the same stats when Hali was out. You also see TJ to be able to provide high assists numbers.

I dont think Hali would be a good fit on this team. The alpha we need should be someone who can defer to Embiid and yet can be an alpha scorer with Embiid not on the court. I also find Hali to be better with a lob threat than someone who’s gonna just hang at the elbow waiting for an entry pass.

Like Harden?

Thybulle, Springer, and Reed to CHI for DJJ and Drummond. That saves 1.8M.

Morey saves Josh a tax bill and improves the bench.

Harden/Milton/Springer
Melton/Thybulle
Porter/Niang/House
Siakam/Tucker/Juancho
Embiid/Harrell/Reed

That’s the best defensive team in the league with 3 go-to scorers in the playoffs. We also still have a roster spot open if Gordon gets bought out.

I’d prefer Maxey & Tobias for FVV & OG

Start Harden, Melten, PJ or Tisse, OG, Biid

Bench FVV, Shake, Tisse or PJ, Niang and Reed

I’d also see if we could get Crowder for PJ

Agreed that Haliburton is too passive to be our go-to perimeter scoring option.

That guy has to be someone who is aggressive and applies pressure to defenses. That's not Hali. That wasn't him in Sacramento (Fox) and it's not him in Indiana (Mathurin). He's got the DNA of a 3rd banana.

Can't understand the preference of Haliburton over Harden, even in consideration of age and intagibles.

Thomas Bryant. This dude has been averaging double double for lakers and is only 2 mil.

In retrospect, Could have been a perfect backup C.

Maxey
Jrue
Portis
Giannis
Brolo
- Add offense

Harden
Middleton
Tucker
Tobias
Embiid
- Add size

He’s a taller Montrez. He’s better as a back-up feasting on other back-up bigs.

We had every opportunity to get Thomas Bryant and we passed. He's staying in LA.

Furk and Thybulle for Kyle Anderson. Give them a potential DPOY candidate and Furk for the guy we should have signed this offseason.

Middleton hasn’t played much in the past 1.5 seasons and is often injured. His current form is subpar. This trade raises the ceiling but not sure if it gets the job done. Sure, it depends on how well Middleton recovers.

Two sec round picks for Cam Reddish. Do we have enough picks?

Morey, get it done.

He's one of those guys that you get excited about dealing for, but then are underwhelmed shortly after. Maybe he just needs to find the right spot and stay healthy, or maybe he's just a bust.

Jon Isaac is about to play some g league rehab games. He's worth keeping an eye on as a guy that could be a legit difference maker on this team if he can get right. Legit impact player defensively from the 4 spot.

Otto Porter out for the season. Cross him off your "cooked guy that you want until you watch him play" list.

You never know. Maybe playing with Biid and Harden would be different.

There any rumors about that (since that viral thing this off-season that is)?

Dallas is actually a pretty good landing spot for Thybulle if they're gonna continue to start Wood at center.

Return to Philadelphia 76ers
