The Jazz are 2 games under .500 and are 3 losses away from a top-5 pick so this game is another opportunity for a quality loss.

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

Hopefully Markkanen is not gassed for yesterday's showdown. If he is, this game will be ugly.

I like the quote- it makes me chuckle. And it was/is pretty much true.

Hardy needs to just bench the starters for the second half...... They've played horribly.......

Our start unit cannot defend. That is.
Vando cannot play C or PF. He is a glue player, and he can do a little bit of everything, but I can't stand to see how many offensive rebounds we concede.
Olynyk or Markkanen need Kessler around to improve a little bit.
And NAW actually try to defend, and this is an improvement about other guards in our roster.

And what a weak Fraglant foul II on Clarkson... this is getting ridiculous.

If we are chasing wins, Kessler should start imho. He's the only one who really makes a difference defensively.
I don't have an issue with the flagrant foul on Clarkson, to me it looked like a flagrant and we'd want the refs to call it this way if it happened to one of the Jazz players.
Olynyk was good offensively but he still made a lot of bad and sloppy passes. He got injured and may miss some time so Kessler may actually start in the next few games.
We are now 3 games under .500. The Lakers and Minnesota passed us in the standings (Wolves won 4 in a row).

I don't know, It's ok a flagrant type I, but 2...
The league is soft, but things like that make it softer.

The thing is we are sucking big time and still it's only 1,5 games to 6th spot.
West is weaker more and more. Suns, Blazers and us are downing without brakes... Wolves up, but I don't have any confidence in them.
Grizzlies are up... but you play them and frankly... there's not the difference between 2nd (tied with 1st) and 12th.

The foul itself would have been F1, if he had just taken it and shown "my bad". It was the fake gangsta act he started immediately which gave the refs a reason to get him out of there before he could actually get something going between the teams.

Yes, Clarkson certainly didn't help himself with his ongoing antics after the foul. I am wondering whether he could be suspended for the next game.
Wild conspiracy theory: Clarkson gets himself suspended and thus avoids playing traffic cone for Donovan Mitchell tomorrow.

Vando isn't the problem with defensive rebounding, Olynyk is...... He can't rebound or box-out......
