See how Naz on the spin and layup, how he got the handoff from D-lo saw the lane and space to the rim, and ate the space between him and the next defender and then, once he was at the level of the defender by the rim, he slowed down, bodied, spun, and layup.

Notice he didn’t get the handoff from DLo and just run the open lane to the rim and then barrel over the defender at the rim.

That’s how you play a stretch forward / center in the modern NBA.

So he’s supposed to play forty minutes (22/24 minutes in a half)? That’s a recipe for a player getting burnt out at the end of a game.
