CP3 will inflate OG's stats. Can't forget how CP gets guys raises.

How many rings has CP3 gotten his guys?
Ayton sure loves playing with cp3 eh?

Him wanting a bigger role, us prioritizing getting our “point guard” shots, giving him a bigger role. All for what? So he could let us down in the bubble, Tampa Season, and then last year’s collapse vs Philly? It’s a joke.
Thats absolutely not what it came down to.

kind of did, you kept him around knowing he would make sure to get his game off with the opportunities already stretched thin. The time to reconstruct the roster was in the offseason, by them sitting on their hands caused this domino to fall. Knowing the dude was already not happy about his opportunities the front office did nothing about the situation... the only thing they did was go to fred in the offseason and say we need you to play more off the ball in hoped that he would. Well here we are.
If thats your understanding of picking one guy over the other i really can't say anything to change your mind. Your mind was already made up :)

Trust me. This one is going to HURT.

Personally, I think the smarter move is to move FVV, Trent & Siakam but I doubt that is going to happen.

It's likely the case that OG really wants out. I don't think Masai trades him otherwise.

for me its team fit why you make the trade, you have 3 pf on a team, none are centers, that means you have to play 3 of them plus a center. that is a very unbalanced team.

And1. It makes no sense to have Barnes, Siakam, OG on the roster starting when you have massive holes at other positions and no bench depth. I think the team already realized that last year. Thats why they were trying to move OG to get Benedict Mathurin in the draft. Sometimes you may know what you need but its just not available to you.

FVV is the first domino that should fall. I'm deeply disappointed there isn't more active rumor mill in that regard.

Theres no logic. It just fits their narrative. This exert from a book written years agp that They're just now aware of is all the proof they needed to run with it.

I wouldn't say he's mediocre. He's one of the best volume 3PT shooters in the league and a decent defender. Those types of players are valuable because they're portable. He also is limited just enough that no one will throw a bag at him this summer. I would want more, too, but the picks give you upside.

He looked below mediocre last night.

4 points. You'd think with Booker out, he'd score more.
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.

Any deal for FVV likely requires some negotiations on his new contract. No one is going to give up assets if they don't think they'll sign him/he'd sign with them next year.

OG is low risk, high reward. He's the best asset on the market by far.

Ayton's problem is probably more with Monty Williams. And Ayton's biggest problem is himself. If rumors are that Booker and Paul need to keep yelling at Ayton to keep him engaged and aggressive...there is little else CP can do. Ask Tyson Chandler and DeAndre Jordan what CP has meant to their careers.

Not the end of the world trading OG IMO he is what he is and we are tanking this year anyways

Gotta respond to this... if not for the ruptured appendix, OG would have played in that championship run. And if Rudy Gobert can be an all star, OG 100% can be an all star too. I'm OK with trading OG, but it has to be for a great return.

OG should be the first one to be traded, he has the most value.

After you get a huge deal for OG, it will up the value of FVV IMO right now idk how much you get

That injury is the only reason he was available late in the draft. It hasn't been a problem since it happened 6 years ago.

In any case, it's a moot point because this isn't about OG's health, it's about the health of the player we'd be getting in return. Like I said, I like Cam.

Okay so OG hasn't played more than 50 games for the past 2 seasons. OG is alot of things but he's not really known to be super durable.

I agree, but Cam's two knee injuries/surgeries still count against him regardless of OG's health.

This is going to be a 100 page thread culminating in OG not being traded.

If we trade OG and sign Fred long term, I will be boycotting all games like the later Bargnani years. Won't even bother watching the highlights.

The tanking years? Don't blame you.

I can watch a young team losing while trying to put it together and still enjoy the game. I haven't been enjoying whatever this is that we play for a while now. Didn't matter whether we won or lost.

Random but Ayton is soft af lol there was a play last night where he could have dunked on Fvv for an and 1 but chose to go up extremely soft and missed. His teammate then at the FT line said at least try to dunk or something and I'm not sure what his response was but you can tell he lacks that aggression and focus.

I think he wants a defined role, and if he's in phoenix he will be more shots imo. Chris Paul will get him touches
