FVV is the first domino that should fall. I'm deeply disappointed there isn't more active rumor mill in that regard.

Any deal for FVV likely requires some negotiations on his new contract. No one is going to give up assets if they don't think they'll sign him/he'd sign with them next year.

OG is low risk, high reward. He's the best asset on the market by far.

While I agree OG is high reward, there is an element of risk involved if a team gives up young players and picks.

He's going to be 27 this year, a huge injury concern and needs to be paid too.

Cameron Johnson is more efficient than OG and is a genuine sniper. From 3 he shot 43% last year and is at 44% this year. OG for reference was at 36% the last two years. His contract is up and we would have to pay him but in terms of fit offensively, he will work way better with Scottie

It's likely the case that OG really wants out. I don't think Masai trades him otherwise.

for me its team fit why you make the trade, you have 3 pf on a team, none are centers, that means you have to play 3 of them plus a center. that is a very unbalanced team.

And1. It makes no sense to have Barnes, Siakam, OG on the roster starting when you have massive holes at other positions and no bench depth. I think the team already realized that last year. Thats why they were trying to move OG to get Benedict Mathurin in the draft. Sometimes you may know what you need but its just not available to you.

Ayton's problem is probably more with Monty Williams. And Ayton's biggest problem is himself. If rumors are that Booker and Paul need to keep yelling at Ayton to keep him engaged and aggressive...there is little else CP can do. Ask Tyson Chandler and DeAndre Jordan what CP has meant to their careers.

He has issues with Monty for sure. First and foremost actually.

Yea and ask guys who are actually skilled and not just lob threats like blake Griffin. Playing cp3 ball when you play better and show more of your talent with him out is frustrating af.

I think most of us aren't interesting in any OG to Suns trade....it's the Pelicans and Blazers that are most interesting when it comes to OG.

He is 1 year older than OG and would have his bird rights and he is an RFA. OG is up for renewal next year as well, so it is not like he is locked in long term and OG probably wants more money than Cam.

How is he a huge injury concern? Since entering the league OG has played a whopping 8 more games than Cam - actually less games if you consider playoffs.

Cam + a boatload of picks is a really good deal if that was available.

Ive been begging since last year for spacing around siakam. He can look so much better. Now scottie too.

Siakam has dead legs but post all star break if theres spacing i expect him to take another step.

We may need to go all in on offense this year. Shooting and spacing around our star players.

The defense is what it is at this point.

Trading OG and keeping Fred, if it happens, will be a catastrophic mistake which will negatively impact this team for years to come imo

If we trade OG and sign Fred long term, I will be boycotting all games like the later Bargnani years. Won't even bother watching the highlights.

That's fine. Over here we want fans who are loyal to the front of the jersey, not the back. And that's coming from someone (me) who was touting OG as a possible DPOY candidate before he played an NBA game. I love his game. But the writing is on the wall here and you have to give up something good to get something in return. We have an obvious overlap of talent/position contrary to the misnomer that we're a positionless basketball team.
