Maybe this was talked about already but would you do: Ayton, Crowder for OG, FVV?

How about trying to go after Dinwwidie? He wanted to be in Phoenix.

Like everyone is after KD but why not take advantage of an easier/lower level deal that makes us better? We have a good team, we don't need KD to be great. Especially if it means killing our future and depth.
I was one of the last holdouts on Simmons Island (his skill set has always intrigued me) so I won't completely shoot this down. Would be the type of deal where everyone from Booker to Monty would have to be fully on board because he brings bagage.

If somehow they got his head on straight he'd be incredibly useful defensively against all the big wings in the West.

Added bonus, he's one of the few guys who could take some of the fan heat off Ayton as they focus their ire at Ben lol

I mean, let's talk this out. Say for the sake of argument that the Suns+Nets even would do business with each other. So would a cp3/Shamet/Dario combo even hurt us? We get back Simmons and Curry.

Also leaves us the Jae Crowder trade to restore some help on the bench. Both the Nets and the Bucks would jump on those respective trades.

I'm far from a Monty fan as many here know, but his whole speel might actually work with Simmons. Camp counselor Monty.

Ben Simmons?!

I'll see my way out of here and y'all next week when we're healthy, 4th seed, and rolling with the same guys.

Hey man they supposedly tried to trade for Kyrie. ANYTHING is possible when your risk tolerance is set at Kyrie f-ing Irving.

Agreed

I would take the Crowder for Grayson Allen and two 2nds over Ben Simmons

I'm not bailing the Nets out of that crap contract. Especially after leaking that kind of info about the CP3 for Irving. Plus, doesn't Simmons restrict the Suns from something because he has a max contract and Booker has a max? Or something to that affect. Eff the Nets front office. Glad they are going to be trash again for the next half decade.

Windhorst on Zach Lowe's podcast saying that our offer was the least aggressive, and we stepped away quickly after an initial inquiry.

In all seriousness, doesn't KD hate Steven A Smith? Why would he get the insider scoop that Shams/Woj/Bill Simmons all have missed out on....?

Oh man thats tough. I think I would have to but follow up with an aggressive offer like something all in maybe for Poeltl or Plumlee.

Considering the Raptors probably don't want either Ayton or Crowder, you're probably adding picks just to get them to listen. Once that's done, what do you have left to acquire Poeltl with?

Bridges for VanVleet is likely what the Raps FO is seeking.

I'd call that adding not really changing. At this point I'd say it's clear the suns made an offer and the Nets wanted more.

Are you upset the Suns didn't give in to their requests? That's a fine opinion (one I don't share) but be a little more clear about it.

I've also seen you say this will have Jones in hot water with Mat, don't you realize that on a deal of that nature Mat is directly involved? Like if he wanted to trade Cam or more picks then Kyrie would be in Phoenix right now?

Just trying to figure out what you're mad about. Because it seems like you just don't like Jones (which is fine) and are looking for reasons to get mad.

Sounds like Monty is denying the trade offer was made and calling it BS
