Ben Simmons for our scrubs

I wonder if it'd ever be something like Simmons + 2 picks for FVV + Boucher. Picks help balance us taking on a big contract

Simmons + 2 FRP for FVV, Birch, Otto and Boucher

Forgot that we have a fresh, idiot new owner to fleece.

The typical pattern here is they **** up so bad, give away the farm and set their team back 5 years until they realize they need to step back.

Gotta pounce after the Durant hangover this summer.

I'd like to be an idiot with $4 billion to spend on Basketball.

Remember when the King's owner suggested playing 4 on 5 and leaving a cherry picker in the back? Was he the one who suggested crowd sourcing the Sauce Castillo pick?

I'd do so many stupid things with my billions but they'd mostly be around greenlighting tv/video game projects that have no audience but for me.

Kings Owner knows **** about ball.

Matt Ishbia is an NCAA champion player. He knows ball. Of course he may still do a big splash move but I doubt he getting fleeced.

Could just be a 2 man race with Memphis vs NO. Maybe a dark horse swoops in like POR

I don't think NOLA is in for OG.

Memphis FRPs will be trash if they add OG

I want nothing to do with Memphis, they have no high upside prospects and their picks will probably all land in the 20s.

Windhorst is very plugged into the league. He has great sources.

So if he's saying the Raptors might wait until the off-season to see what KD does, I believe it. Suddenly I dont think the Raptors are gonna do any moves now for their core players at the deadline.

Hoping they still make some trades to get better depth though

Masai is obsessed with making the FVV/Siakam duo work.

He’s going to stand Pat and try to get KD in the off szn if there’s any indication that KD wants out.

Kyrie requesting a trade not only did cool off the market for OG, it also probably cooled off the FO’s desire to trade anyone.

Simmons, Claxton, Cam plus 3 1sts for FVV, Birch, Otto, Boucher is almost exactly dollar for dollar. I sill probably don’t want to. I might do it but Masai’s hard truths talk would need to really inspire Ben.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

Completely agree with this. Kyrie may have unintentionally changed the Raps direction

This is exactly what's happening. Kyrie ruined the market for our core. Now everyone is hoarding their assets in case KD is available. Right now is a terrible time to sell.

Watching a SportsCenter clip Woj said that we've been really working on a Fred deal, being THE most credible source that's ever existed lol won't lie I'm pretty shocked. I thought the "I'm Here for Life" memes were gonna become a sad reality.

Los_29 wrote:Trent was more efficient than Cam in college, although on lower volume. Both are similar in that they can't rebound or pass. The difference is there is nothing to suggest that Cam can ever be even an average defensive player. His steal rates are horrid and he's one of the worst defensive players in the league among those that get over 15 minutes a game. At least GTJ does provide a high number of steals and deflections.

Cam would be lucky to reach GTJ's ceiling.

They just seem like totally different players to me. At Duke/Portland, Trent was a catch and shoot guy who probably would have shown a bit more shooting variety like he has for us. Cam though, much worse defender but he was a lottery level scorer as a freshman.

Cam can be a 25 a game guy on decent efficiency I think, just seems unlikely he brings anything else to the table. Hard to think of a guy like that because guards were asked to do more back than score back in the day, but maybe Andrew Toney if he played on less elite teams?

Man idk what Windhorst is thinking

League is WIDE open right now, there are definitely teams who think they're a move away from contention, this is the season to go for it

No way offers cool down because Teams wanna see what a 35 y.o KD might or might not do

Any sane GM wouldn’t want be the farm team for a competitor in their conference. What people don’t understand is, why would Masai give BKN Fred and or Siakam to make them into a powerhouse for the next 3 to 4 years basically making 3 contenders in our conference. Basically saying we are giving up on the next 3 years to be able to compete.
