Yes. Still wouldn't mind him as an option on buy outs if no trade gets done. Would he see time in the playoffs? Only decent chance is if Zubac gets injured or in foul trouble.. but I bet Lue would just go small and ride that out, at least most times for foul trouble, and then bring Zu back in the game later.

Rumor has it that the nuggets are trying to trade Mcgee. That could be a cheap option for back up center. I forgot when he resigned with them but it was only a 3 year deal worth 17 mil

McGee would be solid, in a number of areas the team needs. Hes on Dallas though.

I thought Diamond Stone was going to be solid in all honesty, didn't understand Brice and French Davy was just filler.

Still have a Diamond Stone RPA somewhere.

--------

I just feel like we're going to end up dealing Morris/Wall/2nds for Lowry and call it a deadline. Hopefully, then we pick up Dedmon and roll from there.

As far as Lowry goes, isn't he almost certainly negative trade value at this point? He's $28M this year and $29M next year fully guaranteed. He's not toxic like Westbrook but his salary far outweighs his production. I'm not sure how much Miami is actually trying to move him (they may not be for all I know), but if they are he should be an easy get if you have expiring money to offer, or say Marcus plus filler. Then we put actual assets towards a big.

To me that's the reasonable scenario for a hypothetical Lowry acquisition. If any positive assets are involved, no way- he's too much of a cap burden next year.

I took the rumor mill at its word that the Clippers are sniffing around Lowry. I didn't know his cap situation was so toxic.

Still, Mann was minus-20 again tonight, 12 points in 25 minutes with ZERO assists. Something's gotta give.

[I don't think he's the problem but I also think he can't fix it.]

I think Mann would have be a nice stop gap at power forward. Defends, rebounds, takes it to the paint, a few threes, a blocked shot or two. that's ten times the amount of things than Morris does out there.

and make him the team doctor too

I read a trade proposal of Reggie Jackson and Terance Mann for Derrick Rose

That would make the Clppers OLD. We need more energy effort at the defensive end.

Cam Thomas had another 40 point night. I wanted the Clippers to get him and they could have. Instead they got Keon and I was so disappointed.

While Thomas is an amazing scorer, he would likely struggle on a team on which he needs to share the ball. He shoots basically every time he gets the ball

Yeah, let's throw in Luke to sweeten the pot. :)

That has to be coming from either the Rockets or Gordon's agent. He doesn't address any of the flaws on our roster.

As much as I'd love my screen namesake to return to the franchise, it makes no sense unless it's after a bigger deal in which we lose Luke and/or Norm.

And, even then, numbers are hard to make sense.

I think after last night, there is a dark horse player in the trade market that can blow everything up: OKC

They are close enough to have a legitimate shot of getting to the playoffs. Would they be bold enough to make a move for Durant? According to the Real GM tracker, they could renounce a lot of people to make cap space. Not sure how accurate that is though.

Clips should become a third party with any move OKC makes. Might be able to snag a decent piece while they get a big fish.

I had high hope for Eric Gordon when he was drafted by the Clippers. He and Griffin gave me hope for a 1-2 punch corner stones.
