Pretty sure a guy like Presti would have already dealt Bogey for a 1st and packaged Hayes/Burks for a prospect and a 1st by now.

Ok

I’m pretty sure there’s a thread dedicated to that fact.

Why do I get the feeling that this guy was so lazy that they didn't even bother typing that message. That he used Ctrl-c/Ctrl-v and hit the post button. I think it's almost literally the same text that was in the thread and/or other related posts.

Maybe we are at the point where there are AI bots posting in our threads; just pseudo-randomly sampling and recycling prior text snippets. And yes. I did compare him to a robot.

SF Trey Murphy III
C Jaxson Hayes
F Garrett Temple (cap filler)
G Kira Lewis, Jr. (cap filler)

For

SG Alec Burks
C Nerlens Noel
SF Saddiq Bey

- Pels gain some win-now talent to make a playoff push.

- Pistons get two young building blocks for the future. Murphy becomes our 3&D specialist and Hayes backs up Duren

Miami has reportedly called Detroit about Noel. Probably more likely they just want to dump Duncan Robinson's contract on us... but interesting either way.

Noel + CoJo to Miami for Duncan Robinson + 1st is what I'd assume the deal would be... but I don't really like using our cap space on another F who can't defend like Bey and Bojan.

"The Sixers have expressed interest in former Sixer and current Pistons reserve center Nerlens Noel. Chicago Bulls reserve center Andre Drummond, another former Sixer, could also be an option if the asking price is right.

Not sure how the Sixers make the money work on that.

Philly doesn't have the salaries to make it work. I guess Noel will be bought out after the deadline, so Philly is posturing and showing interest just to try to sign him later.

Korkmoz has requested a trade so it would almost certainly be something like Korkmoz + Thybulle for Noel. Thybulle is playing a career low 12 MPG for them this season.

Most deadlines there is a certain player or players that I want or I want to get rid of. This year isn't that for me personally. I blame it more so on the state of the franchise and the fact that we dont really have awful contracts (which is a good thing). Yes Bags is not good by any means but it is not the end of the world. We have youth so do we need more picks? maybe, but we are getting close to not necesarrily needing additional picks especially if we land Wemby. Just a ho humm deadline for me.

It’d be like Korkmaz and Thybulle (about the same as Noel, total) with seconds for Noel. We’d flip Thybulle to a 3rd team ( kings and hawks are among interested teams) for a second and some filler player.

I like both guys. I just don't see them doing it.

You really summed up how I’m feeling.

I’m still holding out hope that Troy has a creative trick up his sleeve that I’m not considering.

The biggest difference this year is that he’s acquired everyone on the current roster in some fashion.

I would rather waive Noel than eat Korkmaz contract for a 2nd (likely a bad one)

I can appreciate the irony of his possible return to LA.

Return to Detroit Pistons
